cameraboy Posted April 28, 2012 Share Posted April 28, 2012 looks like as a tweaked industrial camera ...probably low DR because of global shutter .... but if is cheap it would be good high fps companion to BMD camera ... probably use http://www.cmosis.com/products/standard_products/cmv2000 sensor (very popular today) ... so its 10 stop DR camera... shijan Posted April 30, 2012 Share Posted April 30, 2012 it definitely needs a test footage. in theory cmv2000 capable for tricky nonlinear modes with 13.3 (80 db) or 15-fstops (90db) which can be done by complicated sensor curve turning, and seems its not so easy as people imagine. in linear it capable for mode 10 f-stops (60db) it really pointless for cinema even with its 120 fps here is for example some footage from other camera with looks like same sensor http://www.indiecam.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=188&Itemid=108 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
