As I know , there is no anamorphic zoom lens.
You have to attach to your "normal lens" the anamorphic with a clamp. The "normal lens" can be a prime or a zoom, but always is better to use a prime lens to get better light transmission and sharpness.
I think the Andrew's anamorphic guide is very clear with these topics. Take a look again. The combination between lens and anamorphic lens is crucial to get good performance, no vignette, flares, etc...
