ISCO ULTRA STAR HIGH DEFINITION ANAMORPHIC Disassembly

Hello,

this is my first post on EOSHD, so first greetings to all.

I have just acquired the ISCO lens attached on pictures.

Well, I would like to disassembly the lower part to leave the upper part to be used like others anamorphic setups that I have seen, for my camera, if i'm not talking nonsense.

In this ISCO model, is it the lower part a projection lens that can be disassembled?

If yes, how is it the way to do it? I have tried to move it clockwise, and nothing.

Thank you very much for your help in advance.

Fran

You need to separate the helicoid from the front glass housing. Just take out all the screws, and go from there. Soon you will figure it out. When you have the front glass housing & rear glass housing separately, then you have a lot of options to go from there, check our recent rehousing efforts on a similar 35mm scope:

Thank you very much Jim.

Good to know it. Till now, I did believe that all the ISCOs of this kind of diameter could be disassembled like the smaller ISCOs. Now I understand that to get it, some tools are needed, experience too, to achieve a good tuning.

Thank you
