Its listed as coming soon with a price tag of $1249 for the whole kit (dolly, jib, tripod) seems like a pretty good deal to me but I'm pretty new to videography / cinematography so I'd like to get opinions from some veterans if this system would be good to have. thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Axel Posted February 28, 2014 Share Posted February 28, 2014 Stu Maschwitz, in his DV Rebel's Guide, made the definition: If you can ride it, it's a dolly. To put a tripod on rails is not the same. And you can easily build rails for your tripod for under $50 that don't look so elegant and will discredit you on a professional job like a slider shot in a studio for a car ad ;-) - but that actually work the same.
