Alex-Roman Posted February 5, 2020 Share Posted February 5, 2020 Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone tried this combo already. Does it make sense at all? Setup is: Bmpcc 4k + Lensturbo II + Canon FDs and the 1.5x Isco 2000... I tried cheap +0.5 and +1.0 diopters without much luck. Of course it works but NOT as sharp as i thought. One thing to note is that adding anything in front of your scope will make it less sharp, a vari-diopter will also make it less sharp. The Isco 2000 is not focused to infinity by default so it requires modding. I sold all of my Isco 2000's before single focus solutions were a thing, so I never tried it. Thanks anyway So, would you recomend me to sell mine and grab a new double-focus 2x with a single focus solution instead? tweak Posted February 7, 2020 Share Posted February 7, 2020 Mod is easy, similar to isco S8 (which I use a lot). You don't really have many easily available choices that will end up smaller and lighter than a Kowa with 2x stretch, I'd try modding your ISCO.
