I can't remember whether I did the build along in the end but it is a piece of piss to make but the trick is finding a supplier for a piece big enough for front mounting. There is scope to do some interesting stuff with it linking the aperture to it as well so you can automatically maintain the same exposure. It can then link into the ISO as well for when you run out of road in terms of the amount of ND that can be applied. The whole "PBC as a central hub" thing is designed for these sort of expansions to be incorporated so its already in there from a control point of view but is back burnered until I can find a supplier for a suitably sized piece of glass. kye, Anaconda_ and matthere 2 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

A built in ND filter is not something I ever really wanted but since inheriting my Dads old Canon G10 point and shoot camera, having a built in filter that can be turned on and off at the touch of a button is something I now think ALL cameras should have. Noooooooo............. those damn patents hold back progress so much! Imagine if all companies could make eNDs, imagine how much they could innovate and improve the quality and features of eNDs?
