CineJoe, yes it has smoothed out a bit with use - but still very rough at both ends of the range.

I've heard of people taking apart and greasing their HCDNAs and was curious if anyone has done that with the FVD16. 

The glass is great I just want the throw to feel like a buttery cine lens!
