Mounting an Arri Alexa Mini to a beam

I'm trying to figure out the best, and safest, way to mount an Alexa Mini + lens to a 2x4 wooden beam that is being used in conjunction with a wall spreader. The setup requires a top down shot of an entire room using an 8mm lens. We were able to setup the wall spreader with the cross beam passing just below the ceiling. I've never mounted the camera to anything other than a tripod so I was wondering what people found as the best solution for mounting this camera. I do have a cage with the camera. Thanks!
