wow, whoever used that lens before had some serious intent about the lenses not falling apart,  like caleb said its not really an issue if it is stuck at infinity focus, as a single focus solution will fix that. If its not at infinity focus you may have a problem. You may also have a problem if you wanted to use it dual focus till a single focus solution turned up. Depending how competent you are as a handyman, you could pull it apart. or get it serviced perhaps but that might cost near as much as you paid for it.

Here's the lens and the metal indentations.

Looks like this lens was modified somewhere.   There are some little screws which can disassemble all parts.   I also mods it as no lock(re-drilled holes to make it) .   The rear big ring is not necessary.  It was for adapting to around 71mm(70.65?) projector lens.

I also like to mount this anamorphic lens and take photos vertically.  So just looks as normal, not widescreen. ?

1. F1.8

2. F5.6 (to get good flare, need to use small aperture)

Nice! :)

Just tried it with ELMO II and Pana 35-100 (GH5 VLOG L). Interesting combo because autofocus sometimes helps double focus ;)
