How Does This Production Company Name Sound?

Honestly just "Goodwin" would be my preference. Simple, good message, and has the benefit of being tied to your name.

"Simple Man" has negative connotations for me, I see "simple man" and I think  1) uneducated 2) Idiot 3) Southerner

Flashing Light is not bad, but makes me think of a strobe light.

Simple Man I meant in terms like Hank Hill from King of the Hill. Ya'know down to earth, traditional, and organized and clean?

If something needs explaining before one 'gets it'... it's probably not very good to begin with.

Of course, you do you. But from a marketing standpoint it wouldn't be the wisest move. Hum. Wise Move Media. There you go. 😂 If you want to leave something open for interpretation, you might as well make it suggest that going with you is a wise move... that you make wise moves, etc. Also just sounds catchy.

I agree that “Goodwin” is preferable also, but considering the original poster Zach G., is an actual “Southerner”, your listed assumptions and characterizations about someone from a particular region could be viewed as insulting, so your approach it is not a good idea either.

The southerner attachment is because the southern band lynyrd skynyrd wrote the song, you are correct I should have just said the band instead of the regional attachment it created in my head. There are idiots in every region of the U.S. Calling someone a "Simple Man" is close to Simpleton: "a foolish or gullible person".

I often wonder if this is why so many advertising/media agencies seem to have names that are either so obscure or so mundane. They know they're going to be involved in a lot of varied projects in a lot of regions so they want to make sure there's no situations where copyright infringement could be involved.

Weird unusual obscure names are also great for SEO, you're sure to be top of the search results when anybody searches for you!

Niche videographer/small production company: Puns or cultural references relevant to your niche. Eg: Wet Lens Films (surfing, or porn), Pumped Productions (fitness, or porn) Dirt Road Films (travel, or porn), Headbanger Productions (live music, or porn), Pole Position (motorsports, or porn), etc.

So basically ANY NAME works for Porn?
(if your mind is dodgy enough)
