It's really sad. This camera could've been fantastic.
The S1H seems to do the same processing and therefor has the same issues as the S1.
That means only recording RAW externally may help...

Yeah, I had real high hopes for this because Panasonic gets so much right. But these kind of problems make a camera unusable in many situations.

Also encountered another big issue.
The infamous ghosting issue from the GH5 which was fixed with firmware 2.0 made its comeback.

Really thinking about selling the camera again. All my artificial light shots are basically messed up. :(

What kind of recording was it? Internal, external?

Started debugging with Nick Driftwood.
Seems like only V-Log is affected.
Only V-Log is affected by the strange gamut clipping issue.

Wondering what is going on...

Seems like HLG is perfectly clean!
No ghosting at all.

Also no gamut clipping.

if i get all this right, you're waiting weeks for the vlog firmware to be shipped.

so how long will you wait to get the vlog fw update ? ? (and we got to hope that it will fix the issue)

Really hoping soon, but not expecting.

On the GH5 it took quite a while until the issue has been fixed. Let's see what happens.
Need the camera in late October for another big project in Ghana...

Blue content on phones, screens, TVs,
Dark blue clothing in direct sunlight
Blue LEDs
etc

Thanks!

I also shot a talent [who wore a blue dress] in direct sunlight, now I'm wondering why didn't that happened to my footage. I'm still new to S1 so probably have to do some additional tests...

This just happened with my colorchecker in direct sunlight

Whenever there's something blue and slightly overexposed in your shot (like objects outside a window) be prepared to run into issues like that. :(
There's no roll-off for blues at all, almost like they did forget about adding it...
