kye Posted February 13, 2019 Share Posted February 13, 2019 Brandon Li is a famous travel film-maker who has made a number of viral travel films, with all of the special effects we associate with the genre. His latest project went beyond that and included actors, a storyline, dramatic tension, as well as being a travel film. Tom Antos interviewed him for a BTS look, and he talks about process, equipment, logistics, editing, the balance of control vs improvisation (there wasn't a script), and other interesting things, as well as showing some BTS footage. I think it's an interesting crossover between fully planned shoots and completely unplanned travel films.
