EOSHD Pro Color 5 for Sony cameras EOSHD Z LOG for Nikon CamerasEOSHD C-LOG and Film Profiles for All Canon DSLRs

My camera arrived today. Just had a brief play around now after work and I love the ergonomics and all around feel of the camera in my hand! The 18-55 is just as lovely.

Pretty dark now in the evening, but AF was accurate at f4 and 6400 ISO and having LINEAR manual focus in the settings is a godsend!

Will test a lot more this weekend when I have some time off, but so far I'm a happy camper :)

PS: These colours.... *heart melting*

Screengrab from today’s shoot at Trek with the X-T3. 35mm F2, Acros. If I can share actual video legally, I will. Cyclocross footage competition is simply the best I’ve seen since the first time I shot with the C100 5 or 6 years ago. Auto focus worked really well, not perfect, not canon PDAF, but really really good.

Nice shot, this is one of those rare cameras with genuine mojo.

Had a bit of a play with the X-T3 over the weekend. Below is some footage from my first shoot with the camera. I also have some scenes shot with the Panasonic GH5S. Both are great video tools. Check it out below. Comments welcomed.

Could you identify the lenses you used shot by shot? By the way, what shot with GH5s?

Here is the breakdown:

Wide shots: 16mm f1.4 -24mm equivalent

Medium shots: 23mm F2 - 35mm equivalent

GH5S: From 4.55 - 5.28.

Keep in mind when shooting with Eterna you need to crank up the DR setting if in high contrast conditions.... which I did not do... as I was not aware of this information at the time. This is not an issue in FLog. The GH5S was set to use VLogL, so it was capturing maximum dynamic range.

Rolling shutter tests here:

1080p120 (24fps playback): https://vimeo.com/292104581/7488279a51

Thanks! Fuji website says 16ms rolling shutter for 4K 60P, cinema5D says 9ms for 4K 25P. Do these numbers align with your own observation?

nonscientific DR comparison between Eterna simulation and F-Log. Mid exposure, then one and two stops up and down. Included waveform.

No idea how to measure that into numbers, sorry.

Yeah I understand, just curious about the higher rolling shutter in 50/60P compared to 25P, 16ms/9ms almost 2x. Did you notice that? I though higher framerate usually result in lower rolling shutter.

Whici DR mode did you use for the comprison? DR mode is now available in video mode like X-H1, Fuji quotes 12 stops DR with DR400 and Eterna.

It's def not below 10ms, I'd say that Fuji probably is telling the truth. And 24fps and 60fps is actually very similar in 4k. 60 is slightly less rolling shutter. 1080p slightly faster as well. And there was no difference between boosted mode and normal performance.

Let's see what numbers Samuel_H over at dvxuser can come up with since someone shared my links over there.
