On the third anniversary of the its release. 1 - There is a new Alexa Mini in the works: Confirmed they are working on the next version of Alexa Mini (that should be no surprise). 2 - LF sensor: They like to use the LF sensor in the next Mini. It wont have all the frame rates options, etc. 3 - Technically challenging: Putting that larger sensor (larger image to process) into a smaller body is challenging. 4 - Unknown timing: They don't know when, because they don't when/if they can solve the technical issue of putting everything into the smaller body. 5 - Mini is doing really well: Also, they confirmed Alexa Mini did far better than they had anticipated.
