It's an all metal lens, unlike the the 36 that is housed in some lovely plastic - the plastic is the reason people wanted to have the 36 re-housed in the first place. Yeah it does look nice - makes it smaller & the close focus sounds good, but for the price you could buy some high quality Diopters of differing strengths & still have some change from £2.5k (lots of change).
