Hi thanks for the reply jase.

Basically i will be looking to shoot the whole of the body from the front and sometimes from the back and sides.

Awesome! Lens love!:) If you perfer manual legacy lenses, you should give the tokina 24 40 f2.8 a try, in Nikon mount plus EF- Nikon adapter. Beautiful lens with awesome mechanics and the exact right look for APSC sensor size. Or you enjoy the great AF with an 18 to 50 f2.8 Sigma or Tamron or Canon.
