@kidzrevil I’ve now shot two projects both involving outdoor 90+ degree heat and knock on wood I haven’t seen any overheating! IBIS seems to work best for me when I shoot using the EVF to my eye. If I have the luxury of resting my arms on something it’s dang near tripod like. I echo your above sentiments :)

@Dustin try using the battery grip options too bro, the “dummy” battery used to connect the grip helps move the heat away from the main body to the grip. Its the battery that causes the overheating issue in the Sony

If you want to make a virtual tripod, try switching the IBIS mode from IS 2.0 to the stationary mode if you haven't already.
