Zeiss Ikon 1.5 Anamorphic - original iscorama - Redstan Clamp

Recommended Posts

Ultra RARE!

Asking $1500.00.

it is on eBay id - 192042865612

This is the Zeiss Ikon 1.5 anamorphic with a redstan clamp. As Alan - aka redstan - would say, i have 3 of those lens they are fantastic that is the original iscorama made before the proper iscoramas. The only thing I do not have are the original screws to attach the safety plate for the redstan clamp. But with the clamp it all stays in place, just no belt and suspenders. I have everything else from the original kit.

More from Alan.

super super rare lovely little optic.
would be perfect on gh4 and gh5 the original iscorama.
commisioned by zeiss using isco patents scaled down size to fit the rather weird looking zeiss ikon camera.

a serious little baby anamorphic much better than the slightly smaller baby isco 8 that came a few years later direct from isco.

He did offer to supply the missing screws to the winner.

I used this on a Blackmagic Pocket cinema camera.  The taking lens was a zeiss contax 60mm.  Worked great since it's a 1.5 squeeze not the 2.0 that is found in the kowa and newer slrmagic adapters.  35mm is about as wide as you can go, but probably closer to 50mm to be safe.  That's why I used the 60mm.

please ask any questions.

with the redstan adapter included and the case. Shipping in the US included.

Would really like to keep this sale local to the US.  I would entertain foreign sale, just need to understand the shipping costs before I commit.

I also have a good ol Kowa bell and howell 2x as well, with red stan clamp.  And the tokina close up lens with the 72mm red stan filter thread clamp as well.

Are you looking to sell the Tokina close up diopter still?
