I was curious if anyone knew of a fancy trick to have a video file recorded at 60fps, playback at 24fps without opening in after effects, premeire, etc. and re-rendering the whole file. Could this be done by altering the video file's "code" in Mac's Terminal app, or something fancy like that? Please let me know if you guys are completely lost as to what I'm asking. Thanks! AKH Posted September 21, 2016 Share Posted September 21, 2016 There are tools that that can demultiplex the streams out of media files then remultiplex back into a single file container. When you do that you can specify the frame rate of the output file. Any audio stream will then be the wrong length in the new file unless edited. Videohelp.com is a good repository for these type of tools (MP4Box GUI is an example that outputs mp4 files without re-encoding). Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Geoff CB Posted September 21, 2016 Share Posted September 21, 2016 Premiere: In the project window Right click the piece of footage ( you can highlight multiple pieces of footage at once) -> Modify -> Interpret Footage Here you can adjust aspect ratio/framerate without altering the footage.
