6K, 4K - don't really care to be honest.

Give me 1080P 10bit internal at 48/50/60FPS (minimum), V-Log, 5-Axis IBIS, for $1200USD and you have my money.

But then again, the Blackmagic Micro covers all that (except the IBIS). The GH5 (assuming it has GH4 form-factor) would definitely win the ergonomics battle, however...

Funny you but not gonna happen, the GH5 will be priced either like the GH4, either 1999$ (likely).

Too bad @Andrew Reid but 43rumors already updated the spec (silently FTM) and it is 6K 30fps PHOTO, not video.

Too bad for us indeed.

Same for 60fps 4k photo. The camera cant do video at 60fps but can for a small burst.
The GH5 will be a 4K30p camera, improvement over GH4 being 10b422. FAILED.

That doesnt make sense...there is no "30fps photo", and it wouldnt do 30 single photos even for a short burst because...thats called video.

These settings are so over the top, you might as well include "If you buy the GH5, you'll get a new car, for free!".

Heres what I think will likely happen, 1080p @ 120fps, 4K @ 60fps (with noticeable rolling shutter), probably 8 bit 4:2:2, I'd love 10 bit, but I dont think we'll have that much. Anyway, when is this thing being announced?

You don't know the Nikon V1 do you?

The nikon V1 does exactly that. 4K30p burst for one second, which is photo.

So not only it makes sense, but it already exists, and this is what will happen.

Agreed, I really can't see this being 6k video. But I also doubt 4k@ 60 FPS. Maybe 1080p 10 bit. Still I hope all the hyped rumors are true. I would love to have a Red Dragon for $2k. I wouldn't count on it though.

So, thats a 4k video for 1 second, not 30 photo burst in RAW.

I'd prefer 10 bit 1080p instead of 60fps 4k, but I highly doubt we'll have internall 10 bit.

The rumored 20M" sensor can be this one: http://www.43rumors.com/ft3-new-panasonic-gh5-sensor-is-made-by-sony/... a very fast multi aspect sensor around 24 MP in full res mode, ~21 MP in 3/2 and just right to output a 6K image in 16/9.

Max frame rate 27 instead of 30.

If this were true, the rolling shutter would be out of this world, and render it unusable, let alone for the same price as the GH4.

@ricardo_sousa11, the rumored sensor is different from the existing 20MP version:

“Sony has an 18.9mm*13mm M43 sensor designed for Panasonic that could be used in GH5. Very high-end, 24 channel super fast readout speed that BIONZX could not keep up with. Only Panasonic can fully unleash the potential of this chip right now.”

24 channel super fast readout speed cold mean almost 60 fps in full res. :)

no, it saves 30 raw images. You have to put them together in post to make a video. The GH2 did something similar with 2.2K (?) jpegs

I had a Casio EX-F1 that saved 6mpx jpgs at 60fps for 1 second too. That was about 5 years ago. It's possible, and it is a frame burst.

Just now, The Chris said:

That spec is total clickbait- 43rumors gets crazy traffic from all the GH5 rumors.

Yeah, this sounds like hype. This is nothing more than wishful thinking until panasonic make an official announcement. Might as well claim it will do 8k 12bit 444 @ 240 fps and be priced at $1499. That's not happening either.
