Looks consistent with aberrations that are introduced from an additional diopter - in your case, the Range Finder when shooting far too wide on your taking lens.

Pretty sure if you re-tested without Range Finder attached, you will not see the deformation in the Bokeh highlights. Or stopped taking lens down to a sensible level (at least a couple more stops) to regain sharpness.

I always consider f4 to be the widest recommended aperture when using variable diopters, as ALL non doublet element diopters will introduce ugly distortion until stopped down on taking lenses , some more than others, usually effects more noticeable the larger the camera sensor you go.
