Converting 4k to 10 bit 4444 1080p

I tried it before and didn't know how to use it, i'll give it another shot

It's super easy, just make sure you download the right installer for your system.

Drag the footage into the window, choose your desired codec, resolution, etc. and let it run. I use it to transcode the NX1 4k H.265 to ProRes HQ 422 and it works really nice.

It just dawned on me. Isn't pro res 16-235 ? Would it be better to shoot in 16-235 if you have to convert to pro res ?

Rocky Mountain (Automatic) and Cliptoolz (Have to select the option) do the conversion for you. Editready on Mac does not, with that program it is better to shoot in 16-235.

awesome ! Gonna do some experiments this week. I see rocky mountains lets you add a lut to the conversion, that sounds VERY promising
