Hello all! I am new here, so this is my first post/thread here ever. Today I got my Panasonic Lumix GH3. Before I have used Olympus OM-D E-M5 and Fujifilm X-E1/X100s for video recording. I have never used a camera that allows me full control during video recording before. I ordered the GH3 because I am going to make a documentary movie about a motorcycle club during this coming summer. They ride together every Monday during the summer period. I am going to follow them. I am going to record video from the places they visit, maybe some video during their rides. Making interviews etc. -
Ok so there was a previous forum thread regarding a rehousing project for the LA7200. Based off the video there, I have had this design in my mind for my own rehousing project and improvements as well for close focus and/or marrying the LA7200 with a manual focus lens and making an all in one lens solution for the Canon 5d Mark III. Progress is starting off well. Getting the hang of AutoCAD and designing as such. I am planning on first prototyping with a 3d printer I have access to then going to a further manufacturing step from there. Not trying to get too ahead of myself

Hey guys.. I need to hook up with some Panasonic buddies!!!! I have no body in the area who loves and shoots video like me. Its dead over here as far as filming and cinematography community.. I'm in Clinton MD, southern md, by the Andrews Air Force Base. Any one else happen to be close by like within 50 miles...
