  1. Iscorama Pre-36 50mm f2.8 1.5x Anamorphic lens - Nikon F mount, Isco Gottingham On Ebay https://www.ebay.com/itm/Iscorama-Pre-36-50mm-f2-8-1-5x-Anamorphic-lens-Nikon-F-mount-Isco-Gottingham/164279554727? Price: $3,150.00
  2. Hi everyone! I wanted to showcase my passion project "The Night Knows No Shore" here on EOSHD. I've been a long time reader of Andrew's blog and it was his footage that inspired me to get an Iscorama a long time ago. After doing tests with it for a while I came up with this idea for a movie. And you can now see the result on youtube: It's a project made by one single actor and one single crew member (me) with one single focal length (a Canon FD 85mm 1.8) and one single focus anamorphic lens ( Iscorama pre-36). Don't expect much action. It's a slow film
  3. Hello, Long time lurker, finally decided to register to learn and contribute. I've been doing a little testing with some of my Contax Zeiss glass as a taking lens to my Iscorama. Previously, I've only used a Helios 44-2. The Zeiss is noticeably sharper and seems to work well. Sorry, no lens flares here - just a quick test of overall sharpness and bokeh. I tried using a Contax Zeiss 45mm f2.8 pancake, which made a a nice, compact setup, but it unfortunately wasn't as sharp and I'd hoped for. Drew
  4. GH5 and Iscorama pre36. The way I saw Japan in a 9 days travel. Thanks to webrunner 5 for his help. or https://vimeo.com/271896481
  5. Please let me know if you have an Iscorama to sell. Thanks!
  6. Selling my Iscorama Pre-36 beauty with the original taking lens! I bought this for a feature film back in 2014 and paid way more than my asking price. Used only indoors for 7 solid days. Upon completion the lens went back into the pelican where it was stored in my studio for the past 3 years. I've held onto it for sentimentality and because it's gorgeous but now it's time to say goodbye. No scratches. Very clean glass. No fungus. The usual internal dust inside the elements as one would expect from a lens that's from the late 1960s. Some mild oxidation on the physical barrel that bars no effect
  7. Title says it all. Payment via PayPal, shipping on me.
  8. I'm selling my Iscorama Pre 36 Adapter. It is rehoused by Van Diemen. You can find it here: https://www.ebay.de/itm/232638101663?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649

  10. Link to auction at bottom of post. If you want to tell me about how this is overpriced and blah blah blah save it and don't message me with your sad whiny comments. Sorry to roll in hot here but every time I let the anamorphic community know I'm selling a super rare expensive item I get bombarded by a bunch of little cry baby failures who can't afford to buy precision high end gear and so they post complaints about the pricing or the injustice of me selling amazing gear that they can't afford because they are smug little losers without money living in their parents basement obsessively refre
  11. See my last post on the Isco 54 to read my offensive pre-amble to these lens sales. Kisses Ebay auction ends in 24hrs. Link at bottom of post. Super expensive over priced mint condition Iscorama pre 36 Cinegon Anamorphic Lens with redstan clamp and custom made dog schidt optics pl mount 58mm spherical taking lens. Absolute mint condition. You'll never see this again because nothing like it exists on this plane of existence. Yes it's way overpriced and you can't afford it so don't buy it because I'm an idiot for even thinking of selling the jewel of the Nile. Set for 24hr auctio
  12. Title says it all. Looking for a good copy of the pre36 or 36. I think it's time for me to move on from my 16D.
  13. Selling this on eBay and the auction ends soon. Incredibly rare Isco anamorphic lens with a 2x squeeze. The glass is phenomenal and I'm not sure what it was originally housed in but the original owner repurposed this and added a professional interna l Iris stage which I've never seen done on any other anamorphic adapter lenses. I'm told the original owner did all this in order to use it as an optical printer lens for making film prints and for occasional use in telecine machines. It was chosen because they needed outstanding sharpness and the highest end optical performance since they were
  14. I have posted this on facebook as well. Here's all the info: There's a nice set of s35 primes I found to go with my iscorama, and I need some extra cash to fund it, so I'm about to make a heart-tearing decision to sell my super nice anamorphic setup. This is single focus. Isco s8 2x, Distagon, Rangefinder, clamps and a rail mount. Anamorphic lens – Isco s8, clean glass, no makrs/scratches/fungus, comes in original ISCORAMA SET box. Modded to infinity (I made a tutorial about how to do it here https://www.youtube.com/edit?o=U&video_id=dmMiuMFQSuU ) Barrel of the lens is
  15. Because of a new investment I am selling my Iscorama pre 36. Only PayPal and sending with Track and Trace. This weekend probably at ebay. Please PM me if you have any interest. The lens is in very good condition.
  16. I've just bought a mint condition iscorama 54 and therefore I'm thinking of selling my old Iscorama 54 MC lens since I likely don't need 2. The lens I'm considering selling is in excellent condition. It's a real beauty but somehow I was lucky enough to find a sparkling mint condition 54. I got lucky. You know this lens...it's hard as hell to find and it's even harder to find in top form. I haven't put up an eBay auction yet. I'm probably going to list the opening bid at $6000.00 (comes with redstan Clamp and form fitted follow focus gear). Yes, that's a lot of money. Yes, that's
  17. http://www.ebay.com/itm/182433356155?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649 This is my first iscorama pre-36 lens and the one that got it all started. There's a very thin scratch on the rear element. It's in the photographs. Honestly it captures gorgeous imagery and I could give a crap about the defect but it's there and you should be aware. If the auction goes well I'll throw in some bonus accessories for no xtra cost but let's see if there are any Isco searchers out there. http://www.ebay.com/itm/182433356155?ssPageName
  18. I recently came upon a miracle item. Still boxed and packaged in original packaging and likely never opened up since it was purchased originally in late 60s or early 70s. This Iscorama cinegon (the original iscorama anamorphic) . The dk came with a Beaulieu taking lens which screws onto the rear element. Not sure what applications are possible but are likely. Here's the eBay listing http://www.ebay.com/itm/182422480036?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649 I have many more auctions....for the next week or so I'll be selling all sorts of gear and acce
  19. Hi my anamorphic friends... longtime reader here, first time poster though...   With a bleeding heart, I have decided to sell my pristine and immaculate Iscorama Anamorphot 1,5 x - 54. As longtime readers here I don´t need to tell you that this baby is really the mother of dragons... errr... of Iscoramas. I belive it´s single coated... I´ll put up some photos tomorrow so you can check it out. It comes with three different adapterrings, two lenscaps and a fitting leather case.   Why am I selling it? Just because I need the money for the very interesting cameras that are launchi
  20. I just listed one on ebay no reserve that I've had sitting around since a project in 2003, see it here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/252639185677
  21. Looking for a 1.5x or 1.33x anamorphic lens for my Samsung NX1.

  24. Long time no see, guys! I've moved to Vancouver six months ago to attend a VFX intensive course (which isn't over, by the way), and got the lens in a stroke of luck for a decent price, about the same time I moved here. Problem was I had sold my Isco 54 a while back and had no clamp or step rings to make it work. Believe me or not, took me six months to dig some time and go out hunting a decent priced step ring (a guy tried to sell me a 49-67mm for 36 bucks!). The relevant part is I'm able to run tests with it on the following weeks, I believe. I also got a regular Isco 54, and a 36
  25. Testing out lenses with the Iscorama 36 wide open. I really want that separation from the background. It's easy now with the Metabones Speedbooster EF. There is something to be said about full frame lenses used with the Speedbooster vs micro 4/3rds native lenses. Also the Iscorama is the sharpest of the anamorphic adapters, although there are still some lenses that don't do well wide open. Shot on a GH4 4K (before v2.0 firmware, 16:9). Iscorama minimum distance is around 6 feet, half that with the Tokina +0.4 diopter.
