I agree that it is not as good as what the GoPro can do. That is the gold standard.
Just different tools.

Canon EOS R5C

If Canon allowed you to turn IBIS off and just use the lens IS at these wider focal lengths and then have both stabilising systems working at more telephoto then we would have the best of both worlds. I'm really not sure why Canon wouldn't allow this at least in the R6 (and R5) that I tried, it was infuriating
You cannot turn IBIS off and just use the IS, hence a bless no IBIS, no wobble. On R5C, a professional cinema camera, you must be safe with your expensive wide angle RF lenses only with IS.

On R5C, you can have IS and you don't risk random results. No IBIS is a bless for owners of RF lenses with IS. On R5, you cannot have IS without IBIS. They want you buy Canon modern lenses. Old lenses are not welcome for business. This is the problem for many of you. These people should buy a different option. This camera isn't made for vintage lenses. It is made for their recent lens ecosystem. Canon wants people to switch to their product.

This has some pans, horizontal and vertical. 4K DCI, almost all shots at 16mm, with one crop shot at 35mm (so 1.5X).
I again do not see any evidence that there is something peculiarly wrong with the IBIS/OIS of this R5/lens wide-angle combination. At 16mm, the lens is, however, highly distorted - when one pans the distortion creates odd effects, but they are not wobbles and it is a lens optical fault.
In fact. Wide angle related.

The tweet is coming from this Sony's press release from last Thursday:
https://www.sony-semicon.co.jp/e/news/2021/2021121601.html
Sony Develops World’s First* Stacked CMOS Image Sensor Technology
with 2-Layer Transistor Pixel
Widens Dynamic Range and Reduces Noise by
Approximately Doubling Saturation Signal Level* As of announcement on December 16, 2021.
That's not a minor development:
"Sony’s new architecture is an advancement in stacked CMOS image sensor technology. Using its proprietary stacking technology, Sony packaged the photodiodes and pixel transistors on separate substrates stacked one atop the other.
In conventional stacked CMOS image sensors, by contrast, the photodiodes and pixel transistors sit alongside each other on the same substrate. The new stacking technology enables adoption of architectures that allow the photodiode and pixel transistor layers to each be optimized, thereby approximately doubling saturation signal level relative to conventional image sensors and, in turn, widening dynamic range." -

I agree with others, no doubt C300 Mk2 does the right thing, except for stills or 4k 60p, use the hybrid 1DX Mk2. Duck soup recipe in my opinion.

I agree, it's weird to set the shutter speed for video with hybrid cameras.

This is a hell of a release to continue pushing this gaming star forward. It has boosted the flow of this industry also. Our workflow.

Funny. Looks like this is the best online resource for this smartphone.

There's a new kid on the block... just launched to follow Samsung's 980 Pro announcement and actually is the fastest drive of its class to come and be available very soon (price TBA):
I guess heatsink is somehow removable so can be adapted to the Zitay adapter, even though overheating handling is everything a Canon user can ask for these days...
I think it is, yes, they already sell that Aluminum Heat Sink without the SSD as accessory:

With proper IR filter the BM cameras produce wonderful colour. You should do your research and hire crew that know what they're doing
The problem is when information from genuine professionals is messed up with disinformation from trolls.

Dude once again, that is on you and not the camera. You know you need to shoot with an IR filter on a bm camera....
Offcourse they are still selling them as they are brilliant cameras for an amazing price.
Do you still believe or take in consideration what he writes?

Out of curiosity, what happened with the BMP6K's? I have a BMP6K and 2 4Ks that I have used for hundreds of hours on countless shoots and I haven't had any trouble with them in ages. I had one of the 4Ks drain the battery and turn off when on external power on one shoot, but even that hasn't happened in over a year. I use V-mount batteries and record to T5s and I haven't had any issues to speak of in ages. Just curious about your issue so that I can be on the lookout.
Lurking here for ages. Easy to post here, I have this or that from an anonymous alias, no? Only truth is information, otherwise is adulterated. Pure misinformation.
I cannot understand how this is allowed. He is just a troll, should be banned.
19 days to go... Our crowdfunding campaign for next Kenjo's movie is almost there!
