Do you need HDMI loop through? If so, the Portkeys has it. Atomos and SmallHD do not which is their major downfall for me.
The LH5P is a nice monitor and I use it for gimbal work. It’s nowhere near as easy to use as my SmallHD 702 Touch as that has a great menu system compared to the average one on the Portkeys but the image of the LH5P is nice and bright enough for outdoor use. I also like being able to control my Pocket6K pro from the LH5P screen. Means rarely having to touch the camera when on the gimbal.
I think the LH5P is the one to get of the monitors you mentioned and you will get used to the clunky menu system after a bit of use.

Because they're Saramonic? That's my first and second guess as to why.

Still, if that's your worst complaint, that at least means they're doing a million miles better than their total screw up that was their initial release of the UWMIC9

I'm a bit confused about your use of the phrase 'cine'....
The things that separate cine lenses from other lenses are that cine lenses have things like:
same weight across whole set (so that you don't need to re-balance rigs when changing lenses) same size front filter size across whole set (so that you don't need to adjust filter setups when changing lenses) aperture / focus gears so these can be connected to a follow-focus same location of manual control rings across whole set (so that you don't need to adjust follow-focus controls when changing lenses) de-clicked apertures parfocal same coatings across whole set (so that shots and flares aren't visually very different when changing lenses) same resolution across whole set (so that shots aren't visually very different when changing lenses) etc Which of these are you interested in?  You don't seem to be interested in all of them.

There is no adapter with image stabilization.
You will need a lens with image stabilization such as IS, OS, or VC based on the manufacture. In my opinion, Canons IS system is the smoothest and doesnt 'jerk' the video. As far as speedboosters, i believe metabones autofocus faster but the difference is negligible compared the cheaper viltrox.
There are many tips on how to get stable footage handheld. The most important would probably be weighing the camera down with a heavy battery and a adding a cage or a better grip. Neckstraps, tripods, and gimbals are other options.
I also believe there are some companies like steadxp(?) using gyroscope technology which is pretty amazing but you are limited in some shooting modes and will add to your post production time.
If none of these answers satisfy , m4/3 cameras have the best IBIS, although nothing compares to HyperSmooth by gopro.

Everything has a trade off unfortunately.

Most likely making your interviewee look good will be your top priority, so some sort of diffusion is a must (be it a Light Dome from aperture or some generic soft/octaboxes - both will do). Adding a grid to the abovementioned softbox, so that you can control its spill, is also a good idea.
I'd say that a fresnel is a more specialized tool and probably you wouldn't use it that much, especially during interviews.

Hayk reacted to IronFilm in ARRI's affordable camera?
This is a bit like asking "is Bugatti making an affordable car for soccer mums to drive?"

Technically they could, but I'm almost certain they will not. Because it would absolutely ruin Bugatti's brand image and everything they've been doing in trying to craft that.

The ARRI Mini & AMIRA was their "cheap" cameras. (and they are, relatively speaking. Just compare their price to an ALEXA SXT W)

Their "certified ARRI" refurbished programming selling ARRI ALEXA Classics are their "cheap cameras".

I see it as extremely unlikely ARRI will bring out a brand new camera priced under $10K, and the chances of them making a sub $5K camera? Nil!

However for RED, it is somewhat less surprising (it could be argued the surprising factor is why hasn't RED done this earlier?). Because it has ALWAYS been part of RED's branding that they're the "affordable / budget value" option. That is how they've positioned themselves from Day #1. (of course back when RED launched, a camera could be very very expensive and still be massively cheaper than the cinema cameras from competitors! And with time RED trended up into the higher end markets, but even then RED still presented themselves as "giving you more for your dollar, that their cameras could do more and thus are better value)

Minor side note: I do remember years ago there being serious talk/rumors about ARRI making an "ALEXA Academic Edition" camera. Which would have been identical to their full size ALEXAs but limited to only 720p and only allowed to be sold to educational institutions.
This did make a lot of sense I thought, by limiting it to 720p they're still protecting their branding/value/pricing strategy for the commercial sector, event though this variant would be sold at a much cheaper "educational pricing". While at the same time, getting in to catch them young a new next generation of filmmakers while they're still at film school. Get them learning on and loving ARRI cameras, ready and experienced to use them as soon as they graduate, instead of having the universities buy RED Epics for their students to learn on.

Is a pity it didn't happen, and I don't think it would make sense to do this now. But perhaps if after the ARRI ALEXA Mini 4K S35 gets launched this year (which ARRI has signaled in advance already that it will happen, 2020 is the year they're launching their brand new S35 4K sensor) then an "ALEXA Mini 1080" (using the original 3.2K sensor, but limited to 1080, and with a body identical in design to the Mini) at special "academic pricing" (exclusive to educational institutions) could be a smash hit with students.

RED's reputation has been hurt recently, so it makes sense for them to try to grab lower end customers with a cheaper camera that uses non-proprietary accessories. People thinking "RED sucks it's so overpriced" will probably be ok with the Komodo since it's so much cheaper. People who own one will likely stick with RED and upgrade to something more expensive later. It's what Mercedes does with the CLA or A class, for example - They're grabbing younger people with less income and building brand loyalty for later in life when the same customers have better paying jobs.
Arri's reputation has been, and probably always will be, that it's just the best option for most situations. Part of that prestige is that the price makes it inaccessible by all but the highest budget productions.

Really, the only thing that the a7iii has over other cameras is video AF.
It's a great camera but you're not going to gain much from rigging it up.

to generalize i think with 16/9 you can squeeze it 1.33 times and 4/3 you can  squeeze it 2 times . you could also squeeze 16/9 2x however you would have really wide video and have to crop it later you would probably have wider black bars top and bottom as well. thats my limited understanding of  hows it works hopefully someone more knowledgeable will chime in shortly with a more technical reply. i might go read andrews reids anamorphic ebook again it may have some info that would be relevant.
