I can now shoot without having to worry about ghosting, smearing in V-Log.
NR has to be set to -1 though. TNR seems to be entirely off though and motion cadence is great now.

Also the image - especially after the update - blows the competition out of the water.
Codecs are improved now - so is the color gamut/mapping and (temporal) NR can be turned off now.

Robert John reacted to Lux Shots in Panasonic S1H review / hands-on - a true 6K full frame cinema camera
First full frame camera that's Netflix Approved, with 6K and ProRes RAW on deck? Don't hold your breath buddy!

Robert John reacted to Lux Shots in S1H Raw Format?
Bits ain't stops buddy. Why is everyone interchanging bits with stops like they are the same thing, they clearly are not the same thing! Bits allow more graditions between a minimum and maximum luminance. The delta between minimum and maximum luminance is the amount of stops of dynamic range.

Robert John reacted to Lux Shots in Atomos Ninja V Firmware Update - SSD Issue
Were you shooting in ProRes or ProRes RAW? ProRes RAW is needs a faster hard drive than ProRes, so make sure to check out Atomos website.
I have a Ninja V too, and Atomos doesn't have anything listed at all for the Panasonic S1H 5.9K ProRes RAW drive requirements. I guess I have to wait and see...

I can't speak for Zak, but wide angle lenses have significant stretching on the edges/corners and when combined with IBIS (and potentially other kinds of stabilisation) it gives the edges a strange kind of warping effect, kind of like the jelly effects of rolling-shutter but in a different way. Depending on the motion involved it can look very very strange, and if you're doing pro work then it can absolutely ruin shots.

Robert John got a reaction from Jonesy Jones in Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K
I know that when the Ninja V and the AtomX SSD were backordered at B&H, I was able to get them from Texas Media Systems. Had them 3 days after ordering. Might try them.
