    yes, it's the mk ii.
It ways a bit, but it's relatively compact. Fells like a small rock ?
If it can be your main prime depends on what you are doing. For photography shooting it wide open in daily situations is a bit problematic even with all the manual focus aids. But it has that special look to it.
For video I love it, since the manual focus is just nicer than most fly by wire lenses. And as said, it has a stepless aperture. Personally if I were to get just one 35mm for Fuji, it would be the f/2.0 since it has autofocus and is nearly silent. But I prefer the combination of Mitakon and Fuji f/1.4 ?

Here is a review using it on Fuji Bodies. He didn't like it on the X-T2 because it was too front heavy.

if you work with sliders, gimbals and other forms of stabilisation, you don't need to get the OIS lenses. If you want a zoom, I would go for the 16-55mm f/2.8, even though it has no OIS.
if you are recording audio near camera, don't go for 35mm f/1.4, 18mm f/2.0, 60mm f/2.4 those are loud to focus
I also wouldn't recommend 23mm f/1.4 and 56mm f/1.2 since you can hear those too.
Optically even the cheaper lenses are very good, so you can't go wrong.

It certainly looks better, but to my unrefined eyes there's almost a rose-tinted effect going on.

I see some people - bigfoot, mercer, viet bach, don't understand what's at stake
This isn't me being a communist and bemoaning another site making money from advertising.
Viet Bach, you say "as long as their reviews remain honest"... Well honesty is as much about what you DON'T SAY as what you do.
Read my article, and what it has to say about self-censoring and PR jaunts.
Looking at this purely from a business perspective now, it's bad for business too as readers get sick of it and leave. The watery opinions don't do anyone any good. The sponsored content is only the tip of the iceberg. From a business perspective, in my opinion it is better to to have very high quality premium paid content like books alongside the free articles and standard affiliate links than to compromise the creditability of your entire core business and your reputation with a ton of tacky advertising.

I'm baffled that people still put up with the Sony quirks in the A6x00-range... who wants a camera that's unreliable? Or atleast gets so hot you can bake an egg on it (maybe nice winter hand warmer though). Deal with that kind of nauseating rolling shutter? Maybe otherwise it scales lovely detailed images and you might've fixed the overall color and channel clipping issues thereof. Anyways. Curiosity killed the cat. I'm not one to be all over that, but I guess you want to try out profiles for that camera. And then ditch it as soon as you figure 'ah, now I remember why this sucks', as it probably wasn't the color alone. Casheroos down the drain. I'd be more likely to get a NX1 if I wanted APS-C. Actually, I think the X-T2 might make more sense now. Or you can just suck it up and deal with the smaller sensor performance out of m43 cameras already if you must have sensor stabilization... GX80, G80, GH5, E-M1 Mark II. Take those over the A6500 until Sony decides not to make sucky APS-C cameras anymore. But you know. Everyone gotta do what they gotta do. Wish Panasonic would join up with Blackmagic Design for a re-do of the BMPCC and approach things a little more differently this time. A more sizeable and serious standalone 4K ProRes/RAW DNG shooter. There's nice ingredients all over the place... but noone's nailed a sweet dish quite yet. Why does it always have to be a little sour or bitter... and for Pete's sake, can't we have Nikon meddle in already? I'd love to see a mirrorless no-bs (e.g. crop) 4K APS-C camera by Nikon to be honest. No cinema line to protect there. I'd be all over that.

That's a fantastic deal. I'm biding my time wondering if the G85 is going to go on sale, it's seeming unlikely for this month.

Why do folks here act like the G85 doesn't exist, or is it too new?

Shot this on my GH4 in one night. Used some color foils on my cheap Yongnuo YN300 LEDs and my Panasonic 20mm 1.7 lens.
Recording was done internally in 4K DCI VLOG 8 bit, so some artifacts are definitely there. Tried to create a dark, gritty but colorful look. Still in love with this small, little and reliable camera.
