That guy is God for me! I once found an interview with him, I am in a rush, Google his name!
You can't make a feature film with that edit style, but for two-three minutes epic videos, it's incredible!!!

Agreed, the fs700 is an insane deal.
Im curious how much you have shot with the fs700/7q? My work recently went from the fs700/7q to the c300ii.
I will tell you that the f3 color wise is in a completely different league than the fs700. It is much more comparable to the red/c300ii than the fs700.
If you shoot extreme sports, event videos etc, fs700 is probably great, but wouldn't be my first choice if I shot a lot of interviews and certainly not narrative work.
i just bought the f3 for a project over the summer and I so happy with the results. The black magic cameras are also great, but the image seems more fragile, more noise, the color takes more time to get to a nice place, also the ND/IR pollution situation will drive you nuts.
That being said, fs700/7q is hands down the best deal right now for a 4k setup. Go for the F3 if you want superior color, but to impress clients and the high frame rates with resolution, you probably want the fs700. I have been shooting a to of 1080/60p through the 7Q and have been so impressed by the image.

    The rangefinder has been sent.
Hopefully he pays out the rest.
The mods were in a tough spot.
    This was a weird one.
The intergrety isnt questioned...they responded...with patience and thinking about it.
Everyone go back to thinking about a new prototype camera my friend just plaued with that i cant mention but i think it maybe amazing unless they screw it up and disappoint us.
    Im joking of course.
Cause this is what constantly happening... endlessly.
The next big thing.  Thats whats screwing us up. Camera manufacturers not a internet forum of nerds.
Need to talk more about innovation s in lighting.
Ive seen some amazing led tech.
    Litemats....skypanels...how they shot neon goddess.
Using water and LEDs and flaring the mattebox w a light ribbon.
    Now thats a cool trick.
    So many cool tricks.
Using mylar instead of a bounce board.
    Using stick lights.
    So much crazy stuff.
    Cheap russian arms
    Etc etc

Thanks - not really skillz - I'm also doing some grading work on it.
I think it has less jello than the BMPCC, but I don't remember, skintones, probably less room to move around than BMPCC  - I don't know - would have to do a test.

I saw an fs700 with 4k firmware go for £1800 on ebay the other day.. If you had another £1k for an external recorder you could have a solid 4k HFR camera under £3k.
I'd buy an F3 as a B or C camera, but not as a main camera these days. Wouldn't go higher than a £1k for it.

I own one still, used to have three.

here's some things I shot on it:

It's a really great camera, has built in XLRs, I really like slog1 and sgamut - and man for the price, it's a great deal.
Is it better than the canon 1dx which is probably now cheaper at the same price?
Or the blackmagic MCC or pocket?
That's where you need to do some testing.
    Check motion, color, etc.
I think at this point a rigged out BMPCC with a nice monitor maybe a good alternative too.
If you need the extra resolution.
Anyway it's any interesting time to be alive.

It never came up as a problem for us on this shoot. We were jerking the camera around quite a bit too. Never really noticed it. I'm sure it's there if you look hard enough. But I don't think it will be an issue.

James, the authorities will not help you. Period. Read my last two posts. I lost nearly 10 X  the amount of money you did.
It's over. You got scammed. Life sucks and you move on.
You'll never receive a cent from this clown. BTW, nothing he posted is true.

I've been consdering buying used mk3 for the same reasons as you, so I'm glad you started this thread. I'm wondering as squig suggested if it's worth waiting 'til the announcement/release of the mk4 since that is guarenteed to lower the used price a bit...

I have two 5d mkiii's I need to sell very fast. I'm currently in Dakar (Senegal) shooting a documentary about my great-grandfather who was an african king, and I've lost my travellers checks, and my credit cards refuse to work here. If you send me 500$ (US) for one, or 900$ for both I will send them for free. This is an EOSHD only offer for longtime posters only as I don't trust other people. Send me an PM if you are interested so I can give you the western union wiretransfer details. Act fast, once in a lifetime chance (I will throw in two extra batteries and chargers, and two Komputerbay x1066 128mb cards for each camera)

I had the same concerns. There are a lot of red flags in this post.
If he is indeed so wealthy to where he makes the amount of scammed money in a day, then refund it. Don't say you'll refund it "someday" and then say you have no obligation to do anything.
And the biggest red flag of all is the "this will be my last post, I'm leaving forever". That is NOT something a innocent person would do. Saying you're worried about more scammers is not a logical concern.
Someone who was actually trying to make things right would not cut themselves off from us and the victims. But you know who would? A scammer.
It all just seems very transparent to me. The whole "this is terrible, I'd never do this! I'm so rich, why would I need to do this? Even though I'm so loaded and people were scammed of thousands of dollars in my name, I have no obligation to pay. But I will! Someday....oh by the way I'm never going to come back here again. Bye!" thing is soooo shady.
    It doesn't make sense, people!

I was one second from buying a 5D again today. They are now way bellow $1.5k and closing in on $1k. Before I thought they where a good option to the bmpcc/bmmcc. But at these prices I think its even a better option.
Full frame Raw with slowmo, long battery, lots of on screen tools, rugged, takes stills, shoots compressed as well, decent audio..... And no Moire! Its a very affordable and powerful Raw cinema camera.
The only thing that made me finally pass is that I think it will be even cheaper after the 5Div hits the market. And when it does, me and my $10 m42 prime lenses are waiting
