Ok, so here we go :
My only battery had 66% left, so I could only record 1 hour and 50mn.
The temp in my room was 21/22 °C
Results : NO OVERHEATING AT ALL Neither warning sign.

Of course, results under the sun might be different, but I'm quite satisfied.
I'll do a longer test with a powerbank later.

Yeah Sony, other than 10 bit, pretty much has the video part as good as you can expect for the money.  The GH5 series is better maybe, overall video wise features wise, but not in low light DoF. Hard to beat a FF camera. Color Science, it has gotten a lot better, but still not Canon, Fuji territory. For the money the A7 mk III is pretty hard to beat overall.
Fortunately we are coming to a point where Sony, Panasonic has Forced all these other company's to up the game. Soon it will be hard to pick a real overall winner. It will really depend on that lenses you have.
I think what pisses me off the most is that Canon could come out with a FF Mirrorless that would basically be a C200 in a small form factor, and just take over the whole enthusiasts market overnight. Charge say 3800 bucks for it and be done.
Canon would sell a Hell of a lot more of them than they will EVER sell C200's. I see no reason why Sony can't do the same thing with a FS5. Why not. Heat wise they may have to make a slightly bigger body but who would argue with that for the features. Truth be known the Sony A7s mk III might be closer to one than we can imagine.
Heck look how close a GH5s is to a EVA1 if you put a Speedbooster on one. It Ain't that far off. And what isn't could damn near be put into the GH5s other than maybe ND filters right now.

Actually, well exposed you can do wonderful things with 8 bit, if you choose the right software.
But if you shoot log/HLG or plan to do a lot of grading/keying/vfx insert, and don't want any banding or artefact, 10bit is nessecary for perfect results.
That being said, "perfect" depends a lot of your sensitivity, your eyes, and of course, the broadcast media.
Since I have a GH5 with its 10 bit, my videos are not fundamentally better, but I'm more satisfied about what I can do in postprod

No, I'm afraid... not even theoretically... it seems to me that we are frogs in the pot, pushed to accomodate every year to more 500 $/Euro degree...

I still think this X-H1 is two years late.
It reminds me my a6300 (bought almost two years ago) with IBIS.
No zebra, 15mn limits (no way I'm gonna add a grip for a mirorless camera), AF doesn't seem as good as the A6300, no 4k50p (The GH5 has been released one year ago), 4:2:0 8bit and no 10bit externally, Video recorded in fat32 (seriously ? in 2018 ?),  and a sensor at its end of life.
Ok Fuji lens are good (as expensive), but I can't see any good reason for a T2/T20 owner to upgrade for this X-H1. My co-worker from my Youtube Channel has been waiting for it and was really excited about buying this as soon as available (So am I). That was before the official announcement.
Now I'm wainting the ASIII annoucement

Much better low light. I m not going to sell my GH5 and loose money to buy a more expensive version for just 1 stop of usable ISO gain.
DR is already quite good on the GH5 for a M43 sensor. Of course if Pana comes with 12 bits, HDR and/or clean high frame rate that would be something to consider too but it's not the main factor for me. Finally, the price we'll be important too. Personally I don't believe in ground breaking AF feature.
But no matter what, if this rumor is true and Pana releases a new ground breaking version of the GH5 I'll would be very pissed. That would be such a dick move less than a year after the GH5 hit the store shelves. A camera like that doesn't show up in 6 months, manufacturers have long term road-map. Wait and see...

No, you won’t get any real benefits.
The sony a6300/6500 1080p is awful. Worst than any other camera I own. Such a pity since it’s 4k is the better one. I had to buy a gh5 for work (long recording), and I can see that I lost something in IQ.

I have to say, a new gh5s will bother me a lot, since I just bought a brand new GH5 3 weeks ago, And I won’t be able to return it.
I choose a panasonic camera, because I lost faith in sony when they released the 6500 just a few months after the 6300.
Hope I won’t be disapointed again.

Moiré and the small sensor are the two points that stop me to buy it.
