I don’t care that much about ibis since the Fuji lenses have such good OIS, but it’s a shame they still split up the files in 4gb chunks. Especially considering the 400mb/s bitrate.
But what a fantastic camera. The output is beautiful.
 
 

Just realized that F-Log footage basically just is nothing else than Rec2020 gamut with a LOG gamma - kinda similar to what HLG does.
Makes it perfectly compatible with ACES colorspace. Just need to apply a curve and have filmic looking footage with some great color.
 

Now I'm even less sure which camera to choose (BMP4K or X-T3)...
BMP4K footage doesn't work in ACES at all. The red channel oversaturates way too much and I don't think any IDT (CTL) developed by Blackmagic in the future can help - unless they change their color science...

I find  your concept of “mojo” hilarious. Even funnier that you think that this turd with a horrible highlight roll off has “mojo” and the Nikon Z:s don’t. Please.

The fuji lenses with OIS are really good... unless you are Michael j fox... you ain't struggling to get perfect stills and the video is very stable... a bit of stabilisation in post and you'd think it was ibis... even gimbal on some shots.

Wow, just checked the preorder prices. Very decent starting price. Will probably sell well.
I haven't read up on it enough, at first glance it doesn't offer to much over a used X-pro2/t2. But if I was in the market to buy a brand new APSC this would be difficult to pass on.

This is a really good idea. The forum software doesn't have a Ghost feature but it should have it.
I had to ban him in the end. Too much BLAH BLAH.

Canons rf 35mm looks great.
Wish Nikon would have opened up with a 35mm f2.8 pancake for 500$. With that huge mount they’ll be able to make very good pancakes. 
Another cool option would be a 28mm (same FOV as smartphones we’re all getting used to). Make it f4 or even 5.6. Should make it inexpensive to design and produce. The AF would be blazing at f2.8 or f4. Perfect walk about lens the size of a body cap for 300$.
I’m sure they’ll show up at some point. 

Tomorrow the x-t3 is supposed to be announced with 40k60, 10bit internal and ETERNA. If it doesn’t have a crop when shooting 4K it seems to be a much better deal than the new Canon. 1.7x crop ??

I believe no crop unless you are in 4k 60p in which case it is a slight crop. It is a tough one because I think this is the camera everyone wanted the xh1 to be. Sales of that camera should plummet. I think fuji will be forced into bring out an xh2 fairly quickly to the detriment of those who have already invested. It was always a head scratcher when the xh1 came out knowing the xt3 was in the pipeline. I think people should take a wait and see approach with this one as you will probably get 4:2:2 in the xh1 with the ibis. The problem with the fuji system is that there isn't any great stabilised lenses to assist with shakiness. Looking at the cinema 5d footage I can see the wobble. 

So taking in all the info and videos... It seems like a better sensor, processor, much improved still AF, some strong still features (30fps for 66 frames raw!)... Great video AF, zebras, 10bit 4K/60p (4:2:0), colour looks beautiful, as expected... 120p is now as strong as the other 1080p framerates. 12 stops on Eterna, more in f-log, H265 codec option, much reduced rolling shutter, 17ms in 4K. 4K 30fps now records for 30 minutes, 60p for 20 minutes. 4K crop similar to XT2.
Very impressed, and would bet my house on a 4:2:2 upgrade in the future (Hybrid Log Gamma upgrade already confirmed).
The only thing holding me back is the idea that the XH2 will probably have all of the above plus 10bit 4:2:2 and IBIS, making for a more or less perfect hybrid. They know how to keep you hooked!

That is $5.3k gone on lenses, before you've even factored in the body.
Are the EOS R fans out there seriously considering investing $7.6K straight off the bat just to get shooting?
I am wondering why so few are talking about this... Surely, you want the native lenses. You don't want to be stuck with adapters. That's something Sony users do, not Canon users! You want the silent autofocus. Dual Pixel AF gets very noisy shooting video with EF lenses.
Whether you love the EOS R or not, don't care about video and only plan to shoot stills...these prices are eye-watering.
So what are people gonna do... stop at a 24-105? I don't think so.
EF lenses are apparently a must-have prerequisite for owning an EOS R! So is the adapter... but the adapter you want - variable ND drop in - is not even available yet.
Why does it take until February to get such a simple thing out of the factory?
And what if you are a Sony, Panasonic, Fuji or Nikon user considering a switch to the EOS R and you have no EF lenses? You will have a 44mm flange on your mirrorless camera and a wobbly adapter, plus a lot of money missing (gone on old Canon DSLR lenses with noisy AF motors).
The lack of affordable prime lenses is a massive mistake.
Meanwhile, this all gives Sony an advantage... i.e. people actually own native E mount lenses and so they can actually shoot with native glass on their cameras, whilst nearly everybody is shooting EF lenses on the R system!!

I can see some of that lovely Nikon look in there. You have to underexposed it, th en you get that fat look like reversal film. Love it.

Fuji rumors says under $1,599. 
Pretty impressive specs, AF also got a welcome bump.

yeah that opening shot is outside, I wouldn't put too much store in it. SHe's getting blue shadows from the sky, which can also make skin go magenta (the gh5 goes obscenely magenta in this case!) And in the log example she's getting lit from a pink building, with blue sky fill.
Where she's in direct sunlight the skin tones look pretty good to my eye, although she has olive skin by the looks of it, which is a flattering tone to start with ?
one more thing: my d5300 spoilt me for colour grading.  I couldn't believe how much more work I had to do to my gh5 shots. Do I get a nicer image?  Of course! Is it infinitely better to shoot with: Dur! But I had about 5 lumetri presets with my D5300 and I could just chuck one of them on, and go:PEACHY!, NEXT!  WIth the GH5 I usually go: BLURGH! Fiddle, fiddle, fiddle...
I'd love to get back to something approaching that first workflow.  And then get a BMPCC4K for special occasions ?

And oddly enough they still seem much more pleasing than the ones coming off of my a7rIII. Isn’t that something.

It sounds like the new sensor will have at least 1 more stop of DR, coupled with 10 bit, this could mean we shot Eterna (or a new profile) with around 13+ stops.... Salivating. 

finally found some z6 footage. Only looked on my laptop so far. It doesn't have a lot of magic, (in fact the 1080 looked nicer to me than the 4K), but it doesn't have anything that screams terrible.  I always found the d5300 vid looked miles better underexposed a bit. Curious about shadow noise 
 

Imo, The Z6 is the most underrated camera this year. And its not even out yet..

Great color and skintones. Can't get that with Sony. Autofocus looks good too. Nice and smooth.
