I don't know of anyone who has done this... I think most filmmakers want the flexibility to switch lenses quickly and easily. A single-bodied anamorphic solution that integrates the taking lens would prevent that.  But if you only ever wanted to use one taking lens, an "all-in-one" solution could be done.  If you want it to be single-focus (where the taking lens is set to infinity, and you focus with the anamorphic), this limits your options.  You would probably need an SLR Magic Rangefinder or Rectilux DNA.
Many people have made housings where anamorphic alignment is set once, then all they have to do is swap taking lenses.  Here's mine:

Fabrication can be tricky depending on the the size & weight of your anamorphic, and whether your anamorphic already has filter threads on the front & back. But once you are done, shooting becomes a lot easier.  If you do a search (especially in this forum), you will find a lot of different setups that users have created to accomplish this.

Alright, many members of the forum kept up with the charades that happened with Ebrahim Saawadi (one of the highest contributors on EOSHD) on this link:
It was an extensive mystery case involving a scam that 3 members (myself included) paid for a SLR Magic Rangefinder for a cheap price, from a "trusted" member. He took approximately $250 each from Timotheus and Tomas, and $340 from myself for the item. Long story short, he got away without paying anyone their money back. He eventually sent the rangefinder to Tim and Tom, which turned out to be a test type (that had unusual thread sizes" that wouldn't work on most DSLR's as the original does.

We got scammed. Just a friendly reminder that even "trusted" members can still be criminals trying to rip you off.  Be aware of the many profiles and personas that Ebrahim Saawadi has on this forum, and more importantly, DO NOT TRUST HIM!

I was just seeing how much ES thought he was smarter than everyone and the extent of lack of morality.  For a second I did think he was a confused lost soul who wanted friendship from me, but even then I doubted it.
He's just another young kid who's read too much Dostoyevsky and thinks he's smarter than everyone else. 

My wife was selling a camera on ebay and got a bid , then boom, buy it now.
She got a message from the buyer who said the paypal via ebay couldn't go through, and if she could give her email to him and he would send it thru that.
Paypal emails, says to send the camera, funds are being held until its confirmed that he gets it.
And that was the scam -

So this scam is stupid because the money doesn't go into her account.  Also I typed the subject line into google, and 4 other people had the same email - via rolexes, etc.  The poor scam artist could have at least modified a few words!
The better scam I almost got hit on years ago is on a macbook pro I sold - he sent the paypal, and he gave an address.  fedex noticed that address was an abandoned area of town, and the only reason I got the laptop back is that he was at lunch when he was supposed to be there to grab the computer.
So they steal the computer, then they report to paypal they never got the computer and then , they have the computer for free.

Anyway, in the internet age, there aren't burgulars anymore or pickpockets - there are online scammers.
Imagine if someone came to your house and stole $1500 from your place.  you would freak out.
how is this different?
 
I don't want to reference anything that went down on this forum, but this got me thinking because the person who did the fraud said he would refund money but he hasn't and he probably won't because he's involved in many, many camera scams.
He probably has at least 10 going at all times.
He probably also has some hook up in the USA and preys on people like my wife - with his knowledge of cameras too, he can be a pretty convincing buyer.
Anyway, the internet sucks.
People scam people on it a lot.
Because there is no face to face communication.  A person doesn't know what it feels like to get robbed of $1500 online because they never see that person.
No one knows how it all feels.
Anyway
I really wish Andrew Reid would jump into this.  
i feel like we all have PTSD from the event.
I know I probably encouraged some of it.  But I still feel horrible especially now that I know that one of the scam victims still hasn't gotten his money back.

If I don't, I already have my legal documents together with all of his information/scanned ID, written confession, and handwritten confirmation. I will take it to the authorities if he tries to keep my money.

Also, I just spoke to SLR Magic - and they are totally cool to have their product featured in the film. 
I also got the life rights for the film from ES - only cost me $250!  Just wired him the money a few hours ago.
And come on, international criminal - come on man - we are in the middle of a peace negotiation and hostage exchange - you do not start insulting the person you are trying to make a deal with during the deal.
If ES refunds the money and gives them the range finder, I stick to my side of the bargain - I will tell his friends and family that it was all a misunderstanding.

I think the forum handled it very well , we have all been lied to over a long period of time by the highest rated member on the forum ,
A crime has been comitted with a web of lies and forum member are victims of this crime.
ES has no loyalty to EOSHD or its members we are all pawns to his game , he didn't care who he scammed the money from.
I would ban him with out hesitation.  everyone scammed MUST be refunded asap.
An example must be shown we will not tolerate this on the forum we all love and contribute so much to.
ES fate lies in Andrew's hands its his forum.

this is International criminal activity with no regard what so ever for EOSHD members , not to mention 3 years of lies on this forum ,
and suddenly everyone is friends again and all is ok .  come on guys  Its not OK ! wake up !
ES is a very sophisticated criminal who stole from EOSHD members and they need paying back asap. We have to wait and see if that EVER happens.
 
Be very very cautious about anything said by ES its not all of a sudden all true.
