Nice lens & pretty rare, so well done for buying it.
A few tips about infinity & some vintage lenses (especially the Helios) - I've found that sometimes the taking lenses infinity mark is slightly off & you might need to dial it back a little (mm if anything). Test the taking lens, get the infinity set properly & tape it down so it doesn't move or remember the mark - this should sort your infinity problem out with some vintage lenses, it's certainly the case with most of my Russain lenses.
The Meyer 100m is a really nice lens, one of my favourites for colour/contrast, not always the sharpest but I don't care about that nonsense.
I've found that the Nikon Ai-s 50mm F1.8 pancake lens is a really good one for anamorphics - really cheap too!
Another one to think about is the Super-Takumar 55mm F1.8 - small & sharp (don't get the SMC one, the Super-Tak version is single coated so will be good for flares etc.).
The normal rule of thumb for taking lenses for these anamorphic attachments is to find one with a simple lens recipe - the Helios 44-2 is normally a winner with most of these attachments, but if it's not working for you then you'll need to experiment.
One thing to take account of, if this is really a Baby Iscorama rebranded etc. (as is claimed in this thread), then wide open they are dreamy soft.

Nice shots JG. I'm wondering about the smearing with other lenses. When I had the baby iscorama (focusing one) it really didn't like my KMZ helios 44-2 while I have a very good copy which is pretty sharp wide open with other anamorphic setups. For some reason the baby iscorama and helios just didn't match. I did much much better with the flektogon and a 1.8 zuiko. I sold it a year ago but I'm really interested if this zeiss is better wide open with a good taking lens, especially in the corners.

Yeah all shot at f2 on the Helios. It does get sharper but it does have a bit of a smearing issue on most of the lenses I've tested, others have pointed this out on here too. If you want super sharp images it isn't the lens for you. It's nothing like as sharp as an Iscorama or a Bolex Moller. However saying all that I tested it with my Canon 50mm 0.95 dream lens and at 0.95 it was relatively sharp!! So maybe we've all been testing it with the wrong lenses....... Maybe there's something out there it matches well with. I've tested it with Helios 44/2, Jupiter 85mm, some Canon FD's and the dream lens. Dream lens seemed sharpest very randomly..... The E mount I have on the dream lens is a bit dodgy though thats why i didn't do the test on that.
Focus is ok, throw is short nowhere near as long as an Iscorama. Infinity isn't great but it very old so maybe its slightly off. The best thing about it is how close you can focus without diopters. Maybe a foot and its sharp well as sharp as it can go...... I need to do more tests though and try and find some lenses it works well with.
I would potentially get it rehoused by Van Diemen if I do find a set of lenses it matches well with. It has something about it. Definitely an interesting lens!

Thats the one....... The red dot is part of the alignement mechanism (how you adjust the alignment of the anamorphot) However that whole black plastic bottom part is removable. It's best to remove that and get a clamp so you can align it properly. This is a video I uploaded tonight all shot on the Ikon and Helios 44/2 as the taking lens........
