Codependency is unhealthy. It states, I cannot survive in any capacity without another person, which is clearly a self delusion.
The only time codependency is healthy is a parent/young child dynamic. But even here, the goal is to ween towards independence. 
What you're talking about is interdependency, not codependency. Interdependency is when you are in a relationship that enhances your existence, yet does not define it. It doesnt become your core identity but you fully acknowledge and accept this role in your life. You are a willing participant rather than a victim of it's trappings. This is where unconditional love exists, and is very rare in romantic relations. 
Sadly, 99% of "love" relationships are codependent in structure and expectation. And though some people are complicit and mutual in that illusion of true love, (known as taken for a ride) it doesn't take much for the relationship to crumble when someone changes the priorities around, hence the astronomical divorce rates. Marriage, as most of is know it, is merely a contract of self and exclusive interest. For the state it's even more nafarious.
The truth is you don't NEED anyone else but yourself to survive on any level unless you're a young child. But you can desire to be in the company and companionship of others as a matter of conscious choice, if that makes sense? 

In some circumstances, yes, it does. I don't think the issue here is that the burden of proof is on him, I think he knows that and can handle that all day long, and will when he's ready.  
I think the issue is how it's being approached by some here, which I can assure you will be viewed differently from a young person's point of view. If you have children, then you already know this. 
He is in no way obligated to do anything for any of us. I suggest a gentler approach.

1. A good working romantic relationship does work on psychological and emotional codependency and there is nothing wrong with that at all. You both depend on each other psychological and emotionally so that you can be stronger together than separate. Not sure this is what we are really talking about here but yes I agree.
2. I do not believe my nation(Canada) has my best interests at heart. I believe they have the whole nations best interests at heart which at times goes against my interests and at times goes with it and that is how good democracy works. The problem is too many people just take things at face value and don't think for themselves which makes it too easy for a small group of people to convince a larger group of people that they have shared interests case and point with the Republicans in the US. They have successfully convinced a very large group of poor to middle-class people that they share the same interests as a small group of rich elites and corporations and that they should do things like remove regulations that were put in place to protect them.
3. Yes, I have heard of the world bank and all the issues with unregulated banking. All the more reason to be skeptical of people and their possible nefarious motives.

Didn't you claim to unlocked 16bit RAW? that is orders of magnitudes greater than 8bit compressed.
Even 10bit RAW vs 8 bit RAW is four times as much information never mind the compression...
I don't know I'm just saying extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence and if you are for real extraordinary evidence should be really easy to provide yet you haven't given a single tiny bit.

No sound (at the moment) 
No 30/48/50/60 or higher fps 
Same miserable failure in low-light as generally known
No DIS (but lens stabilization + AF working)
No overheating encountered (till now)
Not coming before or on April first...
...but the undefeated detail and sharpness king for 4K beauty shots in controlled light and daylight scenarios...and ridiculously maleable in post, even in the eyes of  professionally working picky VFX and grading experts...

Samsung is releasing a teaser for their new phone but they featured an NX Lens and a funky looking NX-1ish camera....

I had also the 128Gb Lexar and it worked well. Now I have the 64Gb Sandisc extreme pro, also good.
 

So I think its safe to say the A7S III should have an expected announcement at or around NAB 2018.
 
Let's hope we see some innovation/leap forward on that one over the standard spec bump.
 
EDIT: Just took a second more in-depth look at the A7R III and it is not that bad. I guess I am just bitter lol.

Personally guys, I won't be buying one.
You can bet the A7S III will blow it away for video.
And the competition is huge... D850, GH5, Leica SL in particular.

My "next system" will need to be 8k@30, 4k@120, 2k@460, apsc or bigger, 10-12bit at all the resolutions, with very high bitrate (over 200) and h.265, in a packaging with the size of nx1 and a cost of 2k$ for the body at most. And a good selection of outstanding, yet affordable, af lenses.
I think I'll have to wait several years, since Samsung is no longer in the game.

I would also like to add to that I am extremely happy with how the NX1 has aged meaning that if you asked me last year if I would still be using my NX1 in a year I likely would have said no yet here I am and I don't even see anything on the horizon that could really grab my attention for another year.
I always thought that once the GH5 saw a price drop I would pick one up but I am not really that drawn and with the GH6 at least a year or more away I could be using my NX1 until I end up finally dropping it off a cliff and need to replace it.

I would also like to add to that I am extremely happy with how the NX1 has aged meaning that if you asked me last year if I would still be using my NX1 in a year I likely would have said no yet here I am and I don't even see anything on the horizon that could really grab my attention for another year.

For me, I would need to see a 2-3 year lens release roadmap schedule similar to what Sony did. It's not that I need a lot of lenses I just need to know they are committed to developing the line and that an NX3 would follow after the NX2.

Saddam, I can collaborate tugela's point. I live in Vancouver Canada and I went into two different Samsung stores back before the NX1 was dead and neither of them sold any cameras and the people working there never heard of the NX1.
I also went into this "pop-up" Samsung tech demonstration in the summer of 2015 and they were showing off all there new high-tech gear (phones, TV's, smartwatches, VR, high-end appliances) and there was no sign of any cameras.

Shot this throw away footage about a month ago. at the time I was all into that Steve Yedlin post and talk about resolution and haliation (is that how you spell it?) Went on a tear looking for a some Tiffen filters from my NX "S" Lenses average price was $100+ for a pro mist black. I scoured until I found a Pro-Mist 3 for $18 on amazon.
I was walking past a classic repair shop and found these subjects...  I put mega film grain on it trying to match that Yedlin look.
