Dual IS won't work with any Panasonic lens though I've heard some behave better than others. Focus stacking in camera is only for Olympus lenses. AF in video works better with Olympus lenses, but in my experience it performs well enough with all PDAF bodies. However, I don't have any experience with the lenses you mentioned above.
If log is a need, I've heard they've improved it, but don't hold your breath. Olympus hasn't been good at log in recent years. I'd wait if I were you if absolutely need this feature.

Just to add to that, the Pana 14-140mm f3.5-5.6 and 12-60mm f3.5-5.6 lenses work fine on my E-M1 ii (using IBIS).
One thing I have noticed when using C-AF in video (with my E-M1 ii, hopefully OM-1 behaves better) is that if a lens is well stopped down (e.g. f16)  it can sometimes rack focus a little (presumably to check it's still in focus), so it's best to use lenses with low focus breathing. I don't notice the change in focus when this happens (due to high DOF at f16), but the focus breathing is noticeable with some lenses e.g. the Pana 14-42mm 'pancake' power zoom lens is particularly bad for this.

The 12-35mm pairs great with my em5iii. Ibis works just as good as the Olympus 12-40mm, autofocus is fast and silent to so no problems there. Its either ibis or lens IS, but I read that Olympus ibis is better / just as good as panasonic sync IS.

Manuel focus fly by wire is not so great, very erratic. The panasonic/leice 15mm for example seems to be more linear and pleasing. Also keep in mind that weather sealing is not perfect. For that you unfortunately need Olympus on Olympus or panasonic on panasonic.

"Leftist useful idiots" did not put firearms into the hands of y'all insane American gun freaks: as you might know, more people in the USA were killed by infants with guns than by terrorists.
Another funny thing: those "leftist useful idiots" in Germany (run by a right/conservative CDU gov) who "opened the floodgates" to people whose countries were bombed and destroyed by the USA/NATO: they happen to have scored extremely high marks as a country most admired by the world.
Which brings us to the question your idiot USA president once asked: "why do they hate us so much?"  Perhaps you should examine this question too and realize maybe one factor is because the USA has killed over 20 Million people in 37 nations since WWII? That makes you "feel safe"?????

Interesting finds. I have done loads of tests with a7s II with PP doing everything you mentioned and the thing that I found really helped was when I adjusted the color depth. I did a commercial shoot in Vegas during NAB week with a7s II and was finally pleased with what I got. BUT STILL it's too much tweaking and it still just doesn't feel right like Canon color science. I'm not saying GH4 is near Canon or Arri colors... But I love the 4K IQ and with Natural the colors are more than enough for average clients. Plus you could buy 3 gh4s for the price of 1 a7s2 at the moment.
Honestly my recent findings from this rediscovery has only made me more excited for GH5 than anything. I'm still renting the Gh4 on this trip. Not planning on buying any time soon.
Here are some before and after grade with the picture profile I have been using on a7s II internal that I really like. Found it on dvxuser and did some modifications to it. Found it to lean towards the green tint so I had to dial that out with white balance shift.
Best a7s II 4K internal profile I have used:
Black Level: 0 (it's disabled in s-log2 anyway)
    Gamma: S-log2
Black Gamma: Range- Narrow, Level -7
    Knee: auto
    Color Mode: sgamut3.cine
    Saturation: +32
Color Phase: -2 (this is for a7sII, for original a7s use -5)
Color Depth: +6 (all of them)
    Detail: -6
Expose 1.5 to 2 stops over.

Nope! Just internal 4K. I'm exposing to the right as far as I can without clipping and that helps keep the noise down when I pull the exposure down a bit.

Humbled this week while I am in Nicaragua using an older camera that would never be my first choice...the GH4. I have been pleasantly surprised by the image quality once I figured out how to dial in the picture profile. Shooting on Natural with contrast, saturation, sharpness down all the way and using filmconvert to bring the image back to normal. Shooting mostly with Sigma 18-35 with speed booster on a MoVI M5. Love the long battery life. The very efficient 4k compression. The audio preamps for in camera audio. Weather sealed body. Great slow motion in camera.
My previous experiences with the GH4 SUCKED. Hated the IQ and never gave it a chance. I think once you dial in a solid workflow and picture profile...you have a killer video machine! More to come later. Ill post in this forum post. Should have a video soon.

This looks like a great camera to pick up B-Roll, cramped locations, run/gun, especially when you can't fit/get/get away with a focus puller.
Or even a Director's viewfinder; the sensor size is close enough to all the other close-enough cinema 35mm. Great for DP, scouting locations too.
Some of you have ridiculous expectations. It's a $1K camera. Obviously it's going to involve compromises. Those drawbacks might not work for your project, but that's on you if you somehow expected a perfect camera for $1K. "How could it not have X, how could it not have Y" ... because these aren't professional cinema cameras. It's a consumer camera that has some pro features. Don't get it backwards. If it isn't your perfect camera out-of-box, and you're not willing to tinker with it or work around it's issues, then get one that does.
But the 4K quality, low-light and usable video autofocus will give it a place in the market. I certainly am looking to add it to my bag. There are only three other cameras who have all those features: Canon C300 ii ($16K), the upcoming Canon 1DXII ($6K), and the Sony A7Rii ($3K).
And those cameras have their own issues. It's valuable to talk about the limitations, no question. But the pissing and moaning? Lord. Nobody's forcing you to do anything.
There will probably be some talented folks who will shoot a feature film with just this, and it'll look great, because they'll know how to work around its limitations. Ever since the Canon 5K Mark II came out, there's been a terrific growth of indie filmmaking, because people are willing to manipulate these non-pro video machines to effectively tell stories.
And big ups to people who actually shot with this...a lot of great, usable footage. Exciting.

Great to see your journey is coming along so nicely! You've worked wonders with that G6, Tepui Dream came out great!
Nice clever motion and lighting in some of that shots. Works nicely. I'm personally just not sure about the 'mood'. It seems very cold, desaturated, modern and real, which probably has a big deal to do with the lighting situation in the garage. But I'd probably think it would've come out a bit nicer with a warm nostalgic tone too it, especially since it's classic cars. I'd try to spark the imagination and mood a little more. For me, now, it's a little emotionless. Have you tried dialing out the blues with a hint of yellow and exeggerating the reds a bit more? Of course it's all a matter of taste and perhaps this is tweaked to perform best on the display that is going to be on the stand. But to give you an idea, this is kinda what I mean:

    versus

    See the difference?

Attach the elastic bands to the handle & then you gently pull them one way or the other - the more you add or the stronger the band, the slower/smoother the pan. This was a tip from a professional who said until you get used to the amount of tension needed for a smooth pan (or get a better tripod, which allows you to alter the tension), this method would teach you as well as giving you smooth panning shots.
    Sounds stupid, but really works!
