    Respectfully, it’s not.
The lens is just one part of the equation.
You can put great glass on a shit camera and it’s still a shit camera just as a shit lens on a great camera is still a shit lens.
A great photographer with an average camera will always out-shoot a complete muppet with uber-expensive kit.
I will put skills before kit every time.
But phones, some of them are looking a bit good and I’m one of those people that went to just using my phone over a camera...but gone back to camera despite the ‘inconvenience’.
Can’t deny the capability of some phones these days in the right hands however. There’s some great stuff in another thread on this forum.

I went a7siii + a7rii for photos ( and B-cam if necessary), the only thing missing thing on the a7siii is internal NDs, but then I got two variable NDs that live on the lenses I use the most, so that not really an issue.
I also got a couple of NanLite PavoTube , the form factor is great and they can run on internal batteries.
I m very happy that the all my gear can fit in a backpack + 1 large tripod bag.

If you are going to do a lot of weddings, low light is going to be important , very often you won t be able to control the lighting.

Composition is easy. With all the lenses and associated tools we now have it is trivial to get the look we want.
What’s harder is getting the look other people appreciate...

And, indeed, whether any external recording (eg BM Video Assist prores) also prevents it...

Anyone with the A7SIII and a Ninja want to do a test for me? I have the A7SIII and I'm having difficulties with the camera shooting the night sky. It appears that at certain ISO levels, it eats stars. They will disappear from view. For example using pp7 (Slog2) between ISO 80,000 and 102,400 it appears that some NR kicks in and wipes out a bunch of stars from the night sky.

I'd be curious to know if recording raw externally will prevent this from occurring. I might invest in a Ninja if this works. I just hate to order it and then find out it still looks like crap.
It's a real shame since the A7SII doesn't have this problem. Rather bummed at the moment.

No products or services to sell.  I only mentioned Leeming LUTs because I thought they were considered neutral corrective LUTs. I don't care what LUTs people use, but do want to communicate what I have chosen to start with.  I shared a Vimeo link because its better quality than YouTube and no commercials.
I just want to share what I could on a camera I've been waiting a long time for and learn and work through the new options.
Its hard starting out on these bigger forums and getting any feedback.  If you look back over my posts, I think you will see how much I've shared what ever I could find and put a lot of time into it.
Right now I'm trying to work through my new A7S3 so I can get the most out of it.  Im new to 10bit and RAW, so was hoping to get these new workflows dialed in.   Along the way I was planning to share what I learned.
Sony agent? Now that made me chuckle.  I do have a Sony PRO Support account and try to get info from them to share here, and have.  Even taking questions from here and getting accurate answers from Support.  I do have mostly Sony gear,  kind of stuck now, too much glass and time with the system.
In the past I just made hammocking videos and published to my tiny YT channel, named after my trailname Hang4Fun)..  But this year I am starting to do paid shoots.  Been trying to learn the ropes and share as I go.

Just thought I would share. The IQ is pristine, colors are great and it’s just a breeze to use. Will post a few stills here in a day or two.

Tinkering with the raw files, no LUT, just basic exposure adjustments and balancing the RGB parade on the first, the second has a little more saturation. I'm a novice with grading and working on my skills. I've been told by others here I can't see good color because I like what's coming out of the a7s3, so if its shit, it is what it is, but I'm still buying the camera. Plenty of detail on the guy's face despite not being oversampled like the a73. Looking forward to my copy shipping.
    Cheers.

Whether you like this camera or not, or will buy one or not ... you still have to appreciate that for $2000 it blows away an $8000 Leica M.
No, it’s not built like a tank and doesn’t have that “jewel” elegance. But for those wanting a rangefinder-ish experience and a relatively inexpensive camera they can always have with them, it’s still a pretty cool camera. It won’t replace my other a7’s but I’ll probably get one.
Life is too short to bitch about everything. Have some fun once in a while. If it’s such an awful camera like many are implying then it’s not going to put Fuji or Panasonic out of business, is it?

I’m wondering whether going the Ninja (with the Angelbird mastercaddy) route isn’t a way of avoiding having to buy multiple expensive cards. I have pre-ordered  a 160 type A but it’d be nice if I didn’t have to get another one... I don’t mind using an external monitor and with the proper HDMI it’s reasonably secure.

According to articles posted by RSNA, 71% sensitivity for the SARS-CoV-2 RT-PCR Test. This is the test being doled out by various governments. I would venture to say that the CDC test is even less sensitive than in other countries given reports about serial testing. Each government appears to be using different RT-PCR tests with different primer sets. The SARS-CoV-2 test is highly specific, I would venture to guess around 98% or higher with the thresholds they are using. CT has very low specificity for COVID-19 vs other types of viral pneumonia, but high sensitivity for detecting viral pneumonia. Basically, no one should hang their hat on using one test either CT or RT-PCR.
