Jimmy got a reaction from Attila Bakos in Fuji X-T3 and X-T4 discussion
The 18-55 is what it is, a small, cheap, above average kit lens, the AF is good and smooth. I've yet to try the 16-55, so can't give a direct comparison, but the 18-55 doesn't have the soul of the prime lens, which is to be expected.

Safe to say that the X-T3, like so many other cameras these days, is very capable of shooting narrative stuff.

Wow, you are really passionate about rolling shutter! ?

Jimmy got a reaction from Snowbro in Canon EOS R full frame mirrorless talk hots up
He said directly before the quote you cherry picked that it was a con that Canon didn't have 4k/60p, hence why he had to shoot at 1080/60p and upscale.
There is plenty to bash, no need to make stuff up.

Oh yea, that $300 makes all the difference. All cameras in the $2300 and above range have zero compromises.

Ok, I still dont understand how it's confusing but I guess it depends on what one is used to. I read about cameras every day so I guess Im used to all variants.
On a completely different note. This was a refreshing video. Focusing on the ups and downs of all systems.

Jimmy reacted to brad12d3 in Ronin S Motion Control VFX
Got my DJI Ronin S a few weeks ago and while digging through the app realized that I could program tilt and pan moves and repeat them. I paired the Ronin S with a motorized slider creating a small motion control system. This allowed for some interesting VFX in a music video I just shot. I was able to created several versions of the singer interacting with himself while the camera moved around following the action. Check it out:

As expected though, lots of uproar, lots of laughter.... Yet the image speak volumes.
Reminds me a bit of the C300 launch V RED Scarlet.

Yea, it is stunning. I do alot of wedding stuff and the 90mm shots always get the best reaction (and also allow me to go unnoticed in the distance). I was toying with the idea of moving to the 80mm/f2.8 for the OIS, but the XH1 has fixed that issue.

I'll never understand the mentality of this type of poster. If I prefer one great camera over another great camera, then it's happy days... if someone prefers a different camera, it does not detract from my own happiness.

This is the reason I moved to Fujifilm.. It's just got an organic look that people seem to respond to without knowing exactly why it is different (even from fellow videographers). It has something that can't be measured on a chart, something very human (and yea, I know that sounds fanboyish ?).
