Yes to all of that. You can add the menu audio levels on a custom screen with your most-used menu settings.

I have shot with the hubble space telescope - in fact Roger Deakins asked me for advice about getting the most DR from it. I can say with authority that the XC10 has 12 usable stops.

Regardless of the numbers, Ninja 2 does make quite a difference for these kind of artefacts. Set it to DNxHD 220X and you can't go wrong! I don't know why the 10bit makes a difference but hey, at least it does!

Shoot in log and expose to the right. Don't believe the 35% middle grey Canon says in log. Aim for 50-60% with caucasian skin tones. ProRes is nice but it's really not much more detailed than the mp4 or AVCHD if you expose correctly. There are tests around youtube and vimeo outlining this. 

In my experience shooting Wide DR gets noisier and has more artifacts than c-log. I like to grade. When we say expose to the right we're talking about checking your waveform. Look for skin tones halfway up the meter.

Argh. F**king Canon. Now I want one. I just did a quick grade of your footage and the image is just great. I'd happily replace my BMPCC for one of these I think. Just that lens though ...

Ive been asked quite a bit about what the 4K 305Mbps 4:2:2 C-Log looks like ungraded.
Here are a few "Before and After Shots". I've spent maybe 10 seconds per clip on grading so its more to show the ungraded.
But most of all its to also give a link to two random 4K and one HD Slowmo clips that you can download.

I just took a 6D with the 40mm pancake on a two week trip to europe and it didn't feel heavy at all. If I'm doing serious stills I feel like I want full frame. 

I think most pros buy another duplicate raid 5 and back up the first array to that one. When it gets too full offload to WD Red drives stored in different physical locations. Or if you can afford the LTO Tape type stuff go for that. 

Two areas where I didn't expect this camera to be as useful was stills and for my weird hobby of making unboxings/demos of stuff I buy.
For stills it's obviously no dslr but for BTS, instagram, family and forWebb reporting I find myself using it constantly. 

About unboxings and such. It's just a fast workflow with one lens and NDs. The light weight also makes things easier. 
In the first couple of clips I accidentally had the iso at 3200.

Can report that the fellow on eBay selling the 64gb Lexar Cfast 2.0 for less than a 32gb costs in Sweden is legit.
It's obviously some sort of Grey import since it shows up with a sticker in moon language and no warranty. 
It was professionally packaged in anti static bags but not in an official Lexar box.
No customs or import tax within the EU.
Tried it at 305mbps for a couple of minutes without hiccups.
