If the camera is stationary latency is not going to really be an issue, so one can cut corners and purchase a cheaper monitor. However, if you are moving the camera on a gimbal, slider... Etc, or doing some sort of selfie, like a vlog, then the latency can be problematic. In such as use case, you might be wise to cough up the extra bucks and get a good monitor that does not exhibit latency issues.

The GH5S may well be the best video camera in this format available for run and gun. It’s a great little camera.

It seems that the SD633 is a very common addition for many who take their audio seriously. That said perhaps a lessor know but by most regards superior option is the Sonomax SX-R4+. The main goal here for me is to capture clean audio. I want to avoid excessive background noise, self noise and also eliminate the possiblity of clipping. While Zaxcom offers simular capabilities it would appear that they lock you into a complete ecosystem. And while I am sure that ecosystem is top notch, I prefer not to put all my eggs in one basket as it were.
Some points: getting a Sonomax that is uncrippled by US patent restrictions (US versions are limited to 114db of dynamic range) presents some additional steps. Aside from this, how do the two units compare, price vs performance... reliability etc.

As I do not feel an article that claims to be “comprehensive” can be absent of the single most important aspect of any camera... the footage. Also no information of base ISO... or ISOs if it is dual?

I'm not sure what you are talking about? Are you saying AF is not "Pro"? Honestly I could care less what is "Pro"... I use a gimbal and motion controllers and often times control multiple cameras at once.  AF is a needed feature for these situations. I'm not talking about elaborate focus pulling... I'm taking about locking onto a subject and keeping it in focus. The primary reasons I do not buy Reds and Arri are: size, weight, lack of AF and convenience. If that changes I might have to rethink things. 
This new "pocket" camera is simply too large and bulky to be the kind of camera I would carry day to day.  It's size and bulk relegate it to planned shoots. The kind of shoots my C200 is used for. The only thing this camera has going for it imo is price. But honestly, price is not a dominant factor in my purchasing decision. The more important factor for me is convenience of use... because if it is not convenient to use,  well... I don't use it. 

Use Filmic Pro, you can dial in custom white balance and tint.

Well that won’t happen this time. The C500 Mk2 is that much.

I just had a play with the PB footage... wow. I feel it must be said.  As a C200 owner, and owner of many Canon products, this Sony looks fantastic. Dare I say it? I believe this Sony looks more cinematic than the footage I saw from the Canon C500 Mk2. I believe this camera just might be epic. 
Threw on a simple Film Convert and everything came together. The motion cadence is spot on. And the colors... did I say colors and Sony in the same sentence? Whatever, they look glorious. I'm simply blown away. 
I suddenly find myself rethinking my plans to pickup the C500 Mk2. Now if they can get that same color science into an A9 or A7 series body,  that would make the perfect B-cam.
It seems Sony is really not playing games with this one. 

Which imo is why he's a terrible person to look towards when judging a lens or camera. I prefer to see how these tools performs in the hands of a complete buffoon... that way, if it still seems good, then it must be brilliant.

Honestly, I think the Canon C500 Mk2 is a better choice.  Great AF, Anamorphic support, similar DR, better highlight roll off, smaller, larger LCD, touch screen, switchable lens mounts. Barring some crazy breakthrough... which I'm always good with,  one will find it's way into my waiting arms. 

I wouldn't have them if they paid me. Useless with a matte box, focus gear moves as focus shifts, so no follow focus works. And last but not least horrendous image quality. 

It's a calculator... It's a pager... it's a word processor... What really is a smartphone? It's a computer with a bunch of sensors and transceivers attached to it. They are whatever the software dictates they are. One day the major camera manufacturers are going to catch on to this fact, and then we can start to reap the benefits of computational photography on a real camera.

It's terrific news.  Frankly I can't understand why we don't have any AF anamorphic lenses,  especially as AI becomes more of a thing in cameras.

I literally just sold my BMPCC4K to get the Leica 10-25mm f/1.7. I figured the camera wasn't worth my hassle and I much rather have a convenient and awesome lens. ?

XQD/CFExpress cards are much more robust than SD cards. I've had many a SD card physically break. Granted, all the premium ones come with pretty great warranties. That said, I prefer the XDQ build quality to that of SD cards. I think it's better to have one XQD/CFExpress slot than two SD card slots, because I feel the former is probably at least twice as reliable.
