Nope. I’m just a hobbyist that has nobody to answer to. I shoot 1080p Raw because I like the image and it’s more than enough to quench my hobby projects.

IBIS absence from GH5s was also explained as solution for protecting most demanding professional customers from image defects.
Of course, most demanding professional customers immediately recognized and wholeheartedly congratulated such deeply protection-motivated move.

True, though I am seeing skin detail on my HD screen after zooming in 300% so I imagine it would be more detailed on a 4k screen not less. Maybe its also more jarring if you have raw footage to compare it to. Guess I need to invest in a 4k monitor one of these days.

Why not Nikon be first?

(Nikon picked up a few other minor firsts too, like the first 4K APS-C DSLR, and numerous firsts in the photography world)
 
And then Panasonic will release the S1 and Sony will have to delay yet again....
Then Fujifilm releases the X-H2 and Sony has to delay yet again
Until Panasonic will release the GH6 and Sony will have to delay yet again....
 

the unpleasant thing is, that this shows how bad the E-M1 II was and not how good the E-M1x is. 
It will be interesting to see, how the camera compares to the real focussing monsters, A9, A6400, X-T3 or the best DSLRs. 

I guess it takes a lot of practice. Also, some lenses use focus by wire, some linear, some don't - what makes it more problematic...

Go out the house and shoot, then you will see the real difference between FHD and 4K. You know what, even a whole room shoot inside the house will show it.

But you can say "image good enough to tell a story" about most of the cameras in market today... even on some smartphones.
You can also say "forget specs and just shoot" about any camera.
All these general sentences teach nothing when you try judge a camera.

I use a Ronin S. But it's nothing I carry casually. I almost never post stabilize. If I want stable footage I will use a jib, slider, gimbal, or if I need repeatable movements, or working alone, I will use a full blown motion control system.

Are there ANY Sony sensors that Do Not Do ATLEAST 10-bit at full res??? 
 
The GH5 autofocus has improved substantially in video from how it was, when it was released. Though it's still nowhere near PDAF territory. 

Well, the Nikon D850 sensor is not "handicapped" compared to the A7R III. The banding problem in Z7 is caused by the fact That Nikon did not treat the PDAF pixels as it should be in the RAW files. Nothing related to Sony here.

In video, the AFC focus is great. And that’s from testing and not only reading in forums. In stills, AFC is not great. Yes, they have different performance. Z7/6 has wonderful face detection and object tracking in video AFC.

IBIS never causes a crop, in any camera. Digital stabilisation does make a crop, these are two different things.

This is a 4K camera so you have to judge it through a 4K screen. Any other way is a joke.
