Even the E-M1 II produces 80MP Hi Res RAW files (and 50MP JPEG). And its got a 20MP sensor. Not hand held.

It has all that and more.
My source told me EM-1X has a 40MP sensor and obliterates X-T3 in terms of spec and feature set.
40MP on a micro 4/3 sensor?

They did not put HLG in the flagship E M1 II so do not expect it on this camera...

Other than the sensor, the main difference in between the Z6 & Z7 is the AF system: Z7 has 493 phase detect points vs 273 on the Z6.
It would appear on paper that with half the PDAF points, the Z6 AF could be significantly less accurate.
In video mode, the Z6 has less focus points than 273: "231 on-sensor PDAF points used for video In FX-based movie format".

Olympus could have made the E M1 II a video beast. But, they did not care to fix even the most basic bugs, like WB not stable in video and no auto iso in M mode.

For Color and dynamic range, you need a calibrated screen, and the Z6 looks nice indeed (most phone screens are far from calibrated). For Noise and details, you have to watch it on original resolution. Its not peeping, as noise get masked when you downscale to 1080p.

BS
BS to your eyes. All new TV screens that are sold today in my country (above size 37") are 4K.
For me aiming at 1080p is not relevant at all.

Most final viewing doesn’t happen on a 4K screen. Just as a lot of music listening doesn’t happen on studio monitors.
It is filmed in moon light.
It was shot in ISO 8000 and thats what we judge. And the remarks about "most whatching is done on 1080p" is not relevanat because in the very near future, it will change.
-
When you watch it on a 4K screen, you see a lot of noise in night shots. Watching on a 1080p screen looks much smoother.
So, you have to judge through 4K screen.

Is a flip out screen a Canon thing?
Olympus had a fully rotating flip out screen on their long defunct four thirds DSLRs.
Sony is still one of the two largest shareholders in Olympus as well I think (along with Nikon).
Also the Olympus E M1 II has a full articulated screen.

I don't use zebras, so does highlight alert work in video mode in most cameras?
Its works on playback mode when viewing pictures.
-
You have Highlight Alert in almost all stills cameras for years. It is not video Zebras.

Mostly cause you get burnin with anything lasting more than 5sec, which is even worse in HDR mind you.
Funny, didn't see any burning after many months and much HDR content...

Who gives a S××× about a Led LCD when you have OLED screen?
-
As per A7III high ISO results, it would be logical to guess that the A7S III will have a similar 24mp sensor with all video extras.
-
Common, but not for M43, it will be the first for this format.

So they added F-LOG and IBIS to an X-T2 basically (if the rumours are to be believed)
I think I'm looking forward to the GH5S a lot more.
Also rumours Canon will get in the game with a GH5 competitor... XC10 sales better than expected, EF mount version, blah blah blah.
GH4 and Samsung NX1 were 2014/15 cameras, so Canon and Fuji have a lot of catching up to do.
Well, Canon just launched 3 new video cameras with... HD only Great news in year 2018... HD for 1,900$:

Who will buy this camera? I do not see any Canon / Nikon / Sony sports photographer switch to it.
And most of Olympus users do not want such a huge body.
