Yes, this camera is a joy to use and image quality in C4K is very good, without looking too over sharpened. I am still learning if its better to use Highlights / shadows tool and what levels. What I really love is the option to configure dials and buttons differently from stills shooting, so you can go fast between the modes (it can be nightmare on some of the other cameras if you are a "hybrid" shooter).

Did you really think Canon will give a video powerhouse for a bargain price???

5% crop will be 5%... if you use 12-35mm on G85 which is 24mm on the wide side (equivalent to full frame) vs using 15-85mm on Canon D77 (which is also 24mm equivalent to full frame on the side side), 5% crop will be the same on both cameras.

Why is sensor size relevant to the amount of crop in "IS"?

In 1080p the D77 crops the image with this stupid "IS" that the cheaper G85 has (along with real IBIS), if you have a 4K camera, you can have stabilized 1080p where you control crop and also get much sharper results.

Ofcourse the XC10 has is in 1080p only, it uses more pixels than you see in the image itself.

Of course you care, Digital stabilization reduces FOV - crops the frame and also hearts sharpness. On sensor IBIS does not suffer from this. In editing software, you can at least decide how strong you want this affect. And when you shoot 4K (which the XC10 has) with stabilization to get 1080p, you are getting much sharper results you can only dream of when using this 77D.

It has a Canon tag slao, comes with a price.

"5 axis stabilisation" is bullshit, its a software only thing that you have with every normal Video editing software.

Its focus by wire, no hard stops.

The Sigma 30mm is not large, I have it also. Not very very sharp at 1.4, but still usable. From F1.8 its great enough.

Also, you can see some 4K sample shot with the 25mm F1.4 with the Pana G7:

With the A7s you can shoot iso 25,600 with not much problem, the GH5 cannot touch it.

Its not the same sensor. The E M1 mark II has much better highlights than the mark I.

You can have the Panasonic G7/G85 for far less $$$ without line skipping. So why should Fujifilm do that?

DPReview used beta raw converter for the Olympus here. When you download their raw file and open it in LR, you get better result.

Its a standard size micro 4/3 sensor. No "Magic borders" or anything like that.

So, who likes the X T2 color better and who prefer the Olympus? Let me guess...
