The SmallRig cage for the 1DC etc is now discontinued and not available new. I did manage to pick one up secondhand from eBay in good condition. The cage is a pretty good fit and I 3D printed a support for the HDMI cable that screws onto the rig. I do have the original cable support but can't figure our how it clips into the body, it seems way too tight.
The Ninja isn't too heavy for the hotshoe, it maybe a problem if the Ninja gets knocked and all the impact gets transferred to the hotshoe though.
Thank you for your reply. You can order it from small rig. They can reproduce it. Just email them and you receive a offer (~200$) with a special url to their shop.

How do you feel about the monitor on the hotshoe-mount? Is it safe? Smallrig offers a cage for the 1dc. (200$) don't know if i should order one.

I just bought a 1dc ...addet 2 128 GB CF cards, a 35mm IS lense and extra battery .....paid around 2000 € for everything. Dont regret it. Great lovely colors....great ergonomics. If i need good sound ill use it with the Røde NTG on top. Not too bulky like the bigger c line cameras.
In my opinion sony doesnt deserve 1 euro for what they have done to humanity, harassing us with those greenish skintone colors in the past. I also see lack of colorquality in the neewer models. Simply not buying it.

Hi,
i read that it should be possible to use any Card as long as it reads and writes 100mb/s? Is that true? Would this card work? (120mb/s)

My NX1 also started drifting since yesterday.... i'll never buy any samsung products again. My Tv had an common Issue with the wifi module such as my Samsung Note 4 wich also had a unrepairable common hardware problem. Now my Nx1....cant belive it

thank you .... does the hack allow it to run the focus peaking on a manuall lense activated after a camera restart?
-
Thanks a lot.... that helped. Strange...it did not work with the lumitri included curve
-
Hi.
What is the "main" download Website for those hacks?
Is there also a improvement in the usability of the menue?

Hi,
sorry...a stupid question:
i tryed to add this lut on my nx1 footage with Premiere cc Lumetri.I like the colors but it blows away the highlights and i cant bring them back.
Ís there a way to prevent that?
The Lut: http://www.eoshd.com/2013/11/introducing-eoshd-film-lut-5d-mark-iii-raw-resolve-10/
thanks

Hi, how does it perform with the nx1 and a heavy lense? THX for the review. I subscribed

My choice would be an nx1 with the 16-50 2.0-2.8 lense. The body and lense stabilisation is pretty good and can save u a tripod or even a motorised glidecam from time to time. I use it in combination with the Sirui p204s. (But i have to admit ... I dont have any experience with other cameras.)

GTX 960 4gb version, it has a H265 decoder built into the card.
Yes the gtx970 has it also.

The "bequiet" website says it has 2 "PCI-E 6+2 pin (GPU)" Cabels
thanks so far but.... i still dont know what to buy. The higher VRam isnt that much important?

Hi,
could you give me a advice wich graphic card i should choose? Im working with Premiere CC and do a lot of grading with the Lumetri tool. My computer has the following setup:
Intel Core i7-2600K Box, LGA1155
16GB-Kit Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600 MHz CL9
ASUS P8Z77-V LX, Sockel 1155, ATX, DDR3
be quiet! STRAIGHT POWER BQT E9-500W 80+Gold
BitFenix Shinobi Midi-Tower
2 x Seagate Barracuda 7200 2000GB, SATA 6Gb/sI read that Adobe now supports openCL in the same way theyre doing with Cuda cores. Is that true? So should i go for the r9 390 with 8gb vor the gtx970 with its 4gb? Im working with h265 files from the Samsung NX1.
Thanks, best regards
Matthias

Yes ... A summary of your findings in one of the first posts would be great. Its hard for new users to read the 20 pages ...
