midloch got a reaction from IronFilm in Voigtlander 10.5mmm F0,95 or Pana Leica 12mm F1.4?
Guys thanks a lot for your info I will take the Voigt. I am so happy with my 17.5mm so if they match together it will be great. Just this is how my Voigt works:

If you consider using the lens on a Blackmagic Camera or another MFT camera that shoots raw video, go for the Voigtlander, because it's an optically corrected wide-angle lens while the PanaLeica 12mm has strong native fisheye distortion that gets electronically corrected (=photoshopped in firmware) in Panasonic and Olympus MFT cameras.
This is how the uncorrected image of the PanaLeica 12mm looks:

After in-camera software correction (only on Panasonic and Olympus bodies, not on Blackmagic):

Well, it does look more vibrant and energetic, but, unfortunately, it also caused some issues - overall the grade feels quite imbalanced to me.

I hope you don't mind me listing all the things I noticed.

Shadows throughout 0:04 - 0:11 seem purplish and a bit too saturated.
    Then, 0:14 - 0:15 looks properly white-balanced, but 0:16 - 0:20 appears too pinky and 0:20 - 0:22 too yellowish-greenish.
0:24 - 0:27 shot is low-contrast and slightly muted, whereas the next one is really punchy.
Later on: some white balance problems, again.

    Just sharing my observations.

Your grade had awesome skin tone while his grade has worse skin than an over saturated Sony nex 5.

No Problem.  I attached a LUT I exported of that grade if you want to try it out as a base for the sequence.  It includes all the adjustments minus the power windows to bring up his face.
I think power windows are your friend on a project like this where you really couldn't light.  They give you the ability to draw the attention to the right places by bringing the exposure up or down in certain areas.
Grading is a very fine art that takes a lot of practice, don't give up!  It's worth taking the time to learn and practice and become a master.  (I still feel like I have a long way to go here)

    Hi guys!
I am just grading my new film from expedition to Matsés tribe in Peru. I shot all with GH5 10bit 24p (+ some shots by basic dron DJI Spark and a few shots with gopro). I do not use any luts and have been trying to get the best jungle adventure look for a week but my eyes are confused and I really do not know if this is ok or not. The problem is whether the colors are rich enough and if the jungle atmosphere in picture is decent or if it is a piece of shit... Please can you take a short look to give me any advice of uninvolved person before I will grade all the hundreds shots manually? The thing is that the colors, saturation and contrast looks pretty different on my DELL UP2716D UltraSharp 27 compared to my Panasonic NEOplasma VT65 so I can not decide if to continue in Dell way or try different approach.
    Thank you a lot!

To me is GH5 the most capable camera to very extreme conditions. I have just spent 10 days in peruvian amazon rainforest and the humidity and muddy conditions were hard. I shot V-log 10bit 24p and the results seems to me very good (filmic :-D) as you can see on this very short trailer to movie about expedition to Matses tribe:
