Crazy you say this about any camera that would cost over 1k dollars. You shouldn't have to spend that much money and have to worry about any equipment over heating in that nature.

Yes Panasonic G7 and an Adapter for your Lens is all you need, bought mine New for $520 AUD, they're just the bargain of the century atm and has the same 4K image as the GH4 except no VLOG as yet. It's all you need.

So far it can only do 720p

Aside from the 1D C their C-line can't do decent stills.
I want both in one camera.
GH5 it is then!
It's not the crop by itself which is the issue, it is the mismatch between the lens mount and the sensor crop size.
On a Micro Four Thirds camera the lenses are designed to fit the 2x crop sensor.
And the lack of mirror means special optical designs like the Metabones Speed Booster XL are possible, effectively giving you a 1.3x crop of your full frame Canon lenses instead of 2x.
So I don't even consider the GH4 as a 2x crop camera.
The 5D Mark IV is a 1.74x crop camera and stuck with it.
You pay that much money for a full frame camera, you expect it to shoot full frame.... no?
You expect it to have LOG as well!!

Did a shoot with a mate and we had identical cameras but he was using a really old beat up Nikon 50 1.4 and I was using the Canon 50 1.8 II. The difference was shocking, the Nikon just popped and looked cinematic and the canon just looked flat, ok colours maybe but no pop and no wow, flat and dead when compared side by side! Made me realise, had I not seen the Nikon side by side, I would not have seen how bad some lenses really are. I have 4 Zeiss lenses, 3 are vintage and a Planar 85 1.4 ZE and I love them because of the 3D and the bokeh also they are as sharp as any modern lens! My Sigma 18 -35mm is a little sharper and it's not flat, it has good dimension but it doesn't have nearly the pop the Zeiss lenses have! That Nikkor 50 1.4 pre ai is a stellar lens and I've used it before, I believe the ai and ais is basically the same except for the newer lenses have multi coatings but physically the same design, I either read that or heard that? There are other lens articles there worth reading, with concrete examples of way better micro contrast in the older designed lenses!

We talk about image quality all the time, but the truth is we love old lens because of their defects!

skin tones overall are nice!  and stabilization is amazing.
 The camera was interesting to use - especially considering that it's a 200 ASA camera and has moire and dynamic range challenges - sometimes this is interesting to have to maximize something with limitations. It's difficult, but I guess it disciplines you.

Pretty cool to see the camera used in some pretty tricky situations. I for one am pretty impressed with the results. We shall see what this looks like when more cameras get released into the wild.

It has sony colors, I will stick to my eos rebel t1.

Some of my favourite images are from cinema cameras and DSLRs from which attention has long since drifted elsewhere!
Rest assured some of the older cameras on this list are better than any of the latest and greatest (if not in terms of usability then in terms of having an analogue film-like feel that screams "cinema" and not "digital").

Would love to see a user review with new firmware. 
That zoom rocker thing is also cool as hell imo.

So, I am back from my little shooting trip (See picture below ;-)) and I was testing the LS300 this afternoon (on the balcony) with my 12-23mm since I was not really impressed by the Olympus selection they gave me... Well I have to dig into the settings (I rested the camera) but look at these 3 samples. It look like that the colours are smoothed with some kind of candy effect. Are my eyes deflective or? 
Also if you check on the 3rd video, I have some strange effects on the electric poll on the right side, something that I never saw with my GH4 for example.
