Over 600 people on there seem to think c mount lenses are ideal for BMPC and other M4/3 cameras. Some people here need to get a relaity check and start learning the fine art of manual focusing.

People have been putting stills lenses on cameras like the Canon XL series, JVC HD*** which have tiny sensors and still getting good results.

Any news of a V3 on the horizon?

Get the Swivi VF-3 or VF-4 Loupe. Very nice.

I think part of the problem is that Blackmagic keep attempting to put out the fire by adding gasoline.
Petrol Andrew, always petrol. Aussie's call it petrol mate (and Manc's). BMD being Aussie of course. ;)

Any timelapse function on this yet?

2nd year running! Completely unacceptable.
Blackmagic are risking serious reputation damage with this.
What ya expect, Aussie company with the "she'll be right mate, no worries" attitude! I live here and sometimes the term 'Whinging Pom' is fully justified! Parts of Aus have never moved on since the Gough Whitlam era!! Terrible.

The start of the many false release dates? Hope not. Get your act together BMD.

Who cares what Vincent Laforet thinks? What matters is what you think. May I ask, why do so many websites put Vincent Laforet on a pedestal? Why? Just curious, I'm not meaning for that to sound negative.
...and Philip Bloom. Totally overrated.
