enny got a reaction from BenEricson in I'm shooting YouTube content with my 1DC and CONTAX lenses
I was just about to subscribe to you channel but you went wayyyy of base dude with that 'scripture late at night when i listen to tech channels i really don't want to hear Jesus or any religion staff its like you are pushing it on us like a hidden advertising. Stick to technology if its important to you but not to us and some of us are not christian or catholic. People get offended really easy when it comes to religion best thing is to keep in your home to your self.

Well it all comes down to what you pay for. Cheap is crap, big Dollar equals Big Results. Walmart stuff, and well top end stuff. Your call.

I hear you i have kowa B&H i did a test with wide angle lens and kowa kowa just has this cinematic fell and look right out of camera

enny reacted to Bioskop.Inc in Anamorphic still worth it
They're absolutely still worth it, as cropping just sucks! It's not the same thing at all, as you'll never be able to replicate the creamy out of focus qualities of an anamorphic. Also, the great thing about them is that they really do/can minimise the video feel of some cameras.
What i really like about adaptors is that you're not beholden to one look, you can change the taking lens & by doing so alter the look/feel of the image. So, if you want different scenes in your piece to have a distinct & different feel to them, you can.
However, if you're a modern clinical sharpness enthusiast, who doesn't appreciate/understand the various different types of flares or image distortions then stay away from them - as they'll drive you crazy!

We all laugh but it still arguably shoots a better movie than consumer dslrs...

enny reacted to Mattias Burling in Black magic unveils new camera
Oh yeah, no question. That why I found the joke ironic given that Blackmagic is pretty much the only sub $1k camera that can compete with it. The joke kinda took a nosedive from the start

enny got a reaction from Герман Полозов in Shortfilm thriller 5DMKIII (ML RAW)
all around good job but one point guns dont make that big of a flash mostly non at all specially in bright day light. I have some exp with guns/military what i would do is have bullet penetrate the body skull and hit the snow and see the impact in the snow. But still awesome job

enny reacted to WyattMaurer in BMPCC 2.5k or RED MX
First off, don't buy one tonight. Spending 4k shouldn't be done on a whim. Take time to consider your options.
The Red One MX shouldn't be considered if your looking to do stuff in a commercial context as it is huge and will be a PITA logistically.
If you already have a CY to MFT speedbooster you could use that with a MFT BMCC 2.5k and have a 1.7 crop factor. This is pretty close to S35, but you would have to use only CY glass which is great glass, but expensive and slow at the wide end. You should probably just sell your speedbooster and put it towards your budget as it is going to be very limiting to only be able to use CY glass if you want to use the SB.
You don't need 4k for professional looking images. It is more important what is in front of the camera and who is operating the camera. Don't hesitate to consider 1080p cameras. If someone insist on 4k you can always rent another camera.
Does your budget need to include lenses? Because this is
Do you need raw? And do you have a computer that can handle a raw workflow if you do?
If you are fine without RAW and cool with 1080p then I would recommend either a C100 Mark i or a BMPCC (or BMMCC) w speedbooster lens wise if you need one I would go with a Canon 17-55 2.8 EFS and some sort of long zoom maybe a CY 80-200 F4
The C100 is 800,000 times better than the black magic from a usability and workflow perspective and will motivate you to get out and shoot as dealing with the footage and using the camera is relatively easy. If you are doing mostly commercial stuff I would recommend this option.
The BMPCC w a speedbooster is a spectacular option as well, though not as streamlined.
The reason I don't reccomend the BMCC 2.5k w speedbooster is that it is hard to control EF lenses w an electronic aperture.
Hope this helps good luck

enny got a reaction from Shepard HS in Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera: does it make sense to buy it now?
You can go blue in the face looking for perfect camera there is no such thing I bought Red one MX 4.5k pro camera with all the trimmings and sold it why? because its big and takes shit load of post work to get it nice. I bought Pocket camera with metaboone and i love it is it perfect camera it is for me. Can you shoot nice videos films or music videos? sure you can
