    Hi everyone, Merry Christmas!
I wanna share my last short film, "Best-Seller". I shot it entirely with Nikon D7100 and D5300 on September 2014. I´m releasing it online now because it was circulating some festival during this last year. Hope you all can enjoy it. IT HAVE ENGLISH SUBTITLES just activate them.

Hi everyone. I have uploaded a test sequence with shots from a indie feature I´m doing. We Shot a small scene with film because we wanted a really particular look for this par in the movie, more vintage, like memories from childhood. Se we shot on a SRII super 16mm Fuji Eterna 8673 stock. Then scanned on an Arri scanner.
I never color graded film. So wanted to hear some opinions about.

I know Kodak has some really different tone that i like, but there was very low supply of film stock and Eterna was the only available at the moment. I still love Fuji look

Looks great! I love film and especially S8 (happy birthday Super 8! For 50 Years! and hope for many more but doesn't look good) Anyway... maybe you choosed wrong stock: Kodakchrome looks totally different (warm and reddish) and that is the look of our childhood

We'll be making a Super 8 film at my doc class next week, super excited for that. Loved the grade and feel of Wild Ranger's shots at the top, it's still one hell of an aesthetic.

The Aztec Pyramic. I know its not the best timeline workflow for this kind of work. I wish  Adobe give a mode to change it to look like Premier. Still you can have an incredible IQ rendering from AE.

Wild Ranger got a reaction from JazzBox in Shooting a Feature on **** cameras, can you guest it?
    Thanks everyone!
Yes, those are Nikon colors. That´s one of the main reasons why I chose for shooting the movie with this cameras (D7100, D5300). Also the image gave me some nice dreamy look that really help to sell the atmosphere of the film.

Also, some old Nikkor 35mm f2, creamy shots are in this teaser ;)

I know what it is from a discussion a long time ago about the camera that we share and very good job showing how good it is.

I made a lot of test of this camera on Dvxuser and for me it was the tipping point, that I would not buy any other brand camera because I had already invested in the system and that it was good enough. It was very near gh2 level of sharpness with much better DR and Low light and sold my gh2. I knew that if I could not produce good imagery out of it, it was me and not the camera that was the limiting factor. But go explain to many on the net that 4k etc won't make there work better, in fact it might make it worst because you will have to hide much more details so that it does not look fake, like in the hobbit.

Hi, I'm not really going to defend Nikon on the way they design the D5300, yes controls are real shit.

But over all I'm going to point out that image quality is really nice and you can shot a feature with it if you want to. SHIT I'M SHOOTING MY LAST FILM ON  A D7100 AND D5200!!!

Here I share a TEASER of it (IM SORRY IT STILL DON'T HAVE ENGLISH SUBS), its still private, the password is: teaser.

    Enjoy  ;)
