just set on manual mode and focus to infinity...  a little scotch tape can block the focus ring if necessary

Thanks Panny, yes the less I do modification in post, the more I feel good  And yes I put infinity on the prime lens and focusing with the focus module. The very closed shots are taken with a + 3 diopter.

Always wide open (f2.8 in tele position), because over it's vignetting.

Yes His Name Is Alive is a great band  I never had been the chance to see them live. For the bayonet, press firmly the black plastic circle surrunding the front of the lens and turn it from right to left. This bayonet is done for accessories, such as this automatic front cap

This 2ND PART is taken in the French Pyrenees in Luchon.
I'm happy having managed building a system for using my baby anamorphic on a 4K compact camera. I used an accessory tube made for the Canon G7 and managed to screw it on the bayonet system of the LX100. then I screwed another tube on it to allowed the zoom going at it's end of it's range (84mm in 4K, because it's vignetting below), then the Redstan clamp for my baby Hypergonar, and finally the SLR Magic Rangefinder focus system, and here we go !

For me the result is very promising ! What do you think ?

What do you mean ? If you want the full res of the video stills they are in the flick'r. Don't forget it's a lens for 8mm film and for me the result on a compact is far surprising

I wonder if a 2x anamorphic attachment would work on the lx100 in 4:3 at max zoom (87mm) I have a proskar laying around that I will try eventually.

Îm not sure it will work with a 2x (the baby is 1.75), Îm very closed to vignetting

This tube is compatible more or less with the bayonet system attachment of the LX100, so I can fix the system on the camera with care, much better than fixing it on the fragile zoom...

I did it with Redstan clamp.

GH4 + LINOS MeVis-C 35mm f1.6 C-mount lens + baby Hypergonar 1.75x + SLR Magic Rangefinder

Here is my first hands on with the SLR Magic Rangefinder

the taking lens (LINOS MeVis-C 35mm f1.6 C-mount) is good with this combo from f5.6. The video was taken between f1.6 to f8. The baby Hypergonar is not the highest sharpest lens in the world  Apparently I'm happy with the Rangefinder, despite the results are a little under with duet diopters.

Hi my anamorphic friend, here is a a new match I've found for my baby Hypergonar, the Pentax Cosmicar 25mm f1.4 C-mount lens, and I like the result, despite the distortion and the slight vignetting. What do you think ? (more information below)
