I have noticed it's almost all European shooters who are reporting the sunspot bug.
Sure enough I switch to NTSC 24p and problem is gone.
Looks like to only be a 25p bug.
So as a temporary workaround until Sony respond just set the camera to NTSC.
Is this argue could explain A7S II Black Sun issue ?
• Pal is 25 i/s and NTSC 30 i/s making a 1/50 more expose than a 1/60
As Black Sun is due to an over exposure, is the slightly difference of speed exposure could result that "UE" are more subject to the issue ?• The C-Mos black sun clearly explained by the screenshot below

Curious to know how long 4K video can be recorded on 16 64 128 Go Phone, with what compression quality ?
4K is not a priority, only a marketing must to compete LG, Samsung ...

Great article to get feedback with your own adventure. Hackintosh is the most use solution in indie film & music video. Most cheaper & also much more speeder than the MacPro.
Keep your Hack only for Video workflow, other application internet, surf, mail on a separate computer, do not take any risk. A up to date have to be done apart, when no project is in process. Always keep a copy of your system. Keep safe!

I am not a 4K user at all.
Do I notice right or did I miss something ? No 4:2:2 @ HD ???
I would have prefer HD Motion JPEG @ 4:2:2 more than a H.264 4:2:0 All-i/IB-P !!!
HD M JPEG is less compression a must for secondary Color Correction & VFx.
Do we need to shoot 4K to get a better HD quality Master ? I mean in term of compression artifacts and color depth. If yes, shame to manage more data than needed.
Is HD mp4 or .mov also 8 bit rather than 10 bit ?
High speed is a feature more important than 4K, I'd have preferred 125 fps for European "PAL" frame rate.
